Hey, with me being up north here in Nova Scotia your weather sounds nice for a holiday but not to live and work in for long. We have only hit 70f 3 - 4 times so far this year, today is the first day of summer its cloudy drizzling and 55f -13c but it looks like we get to 25c - 77 and raining this Sat................... Ya wanna switch place for a week or 3? lol
You're in Nova Scotia?

My 70th yesterday....same day as your Gma?
Same day 1/2 brother as my very own Mom who visited Nova Scotia and my dad took some great pictures back in the late 50s. She was born in Winthrop Ma -- New York, New Jersey, Florida, California, Thailand.

I've not been to Thailand, I looked into it years ago but airfare from here and the time it took made it undo-able...now it would take a lottery win. Many friends have gone there one got into some bad shit, over stayed his visa then tried to exit and re-enter and got caught,,,,did about 1 year in prison then got booted out of the country.....He never got off the stuff and died a few years ago from something completely unrelated.....

If things had gone as I was wanting I would have been in Phuket when the Tsunami hit....I wanted to sell everything and go on a sabbatical...lol.....I was right into carving and I just wanted to be gone somewhere I could relax and do my thing. My friend who passed loved it down there and If we'd have been able to sell....I thought at the time....we we're lucky things didn't work out.

There may be better songs that make you think than My Back Pages but...

Crimson flames tied through my ears
Rolling high and mighty traps
Pounced with fire on flaming roads
Using ideas as my maps
"We'll meet on edges, soon," said I
Proud 'neath heated brow

[Refrain]
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now

[Verse 2]
Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth
"Rip down all hate," I screamed
Lies that life is black and white
Spoke from my skull, I dreamed
Romantic facts of musketeers
Foundationed deep, somehow

[Refrain]
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now

[Verse 3]
Girls' faces formed the forward path
From phony jealousy
To memorizing politics
Of ancient history
Flung down by corpse evangelists
Unthought of, though, somehow

[Refrain]
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now

[Verse 4]
A self-ordained professor's tongue
Too serious to fool
Spouted out that liberty
Is just equality in school
"Equality," I spoke the word
As if a wedding vow
I love the hat, I'd fit in with my friend here with one of those...I checked amzon...$56.....

That’s a great picture! If somebody doesn’t nominate that for POTM I will when I get home from work. L O L

That's a famous New Foundland 3 old fishermen post card....we need to nominate the cod for catch of the day.

Is that an immature bald eagle? Hasn’t got the whitehead yet?
Red tail hawks... AKA chicken hawk with a bigger span than the Bald eagle. But looks of similar weight

These things hunt 🐻 Cubs. Bald eagle eating fish mostly. These hunt in packs also. I've seen as many as four together and they work with each other
