Yep, we're not in the same climate. Mid Michigan here ... we've had what us northerner's call "hot weather" earlier on ... 90's to mid 90's late June through end of July. It's been a good outdoor growing season so far ... but fall is around the corner. Fall is when potential problems come up for many of us in the North.

Seems like as fall comes on depending on where you are there are always challenges. Lots of climates are very humid in the fall, I'm glad I don't have that to deal with. Here the humidity stays low from 15% to 25 or 30% so Mold and mildew are not a problem. But 1st frost can come anytime starting the end of September, so I like to grow strains that tend to finish early like 7-9 weeks.
If we have to we can always cover our plants at night when the early frost starts and we are waiting for maximum ripening.
This is my 3rd year growing here and it keeps getting better as I learn a little more each season! Keep on keeping on.
Peace out ✌😎

Mine are in a greenhouse so I won't have any worries about frost. I grew "fast" strains this year and I think 6 of my 8 plants will be done mid September. I have 2 "Fast Flower" GSC that could cause issues. Those look like they're 6-8 weeks out still.

I'm also gearing up for my indoor grows again. I'll be starting that around labor day.

Greenhouse sounds nice! I'm working on a 500 sq ft Walapini. (Underground greenhouse) Hope to have it 1/2 finished for a fall / winter vegetable garden. Ok, ok maybe a cannabis plant or two. Its supposed to maintain temps in the 40s with outside temps at single digits without any heating. I'm encouraging all the growers I know to grow food as well this year. Could become more valuable than medecine.
Peace out ✌😎
New here as well. Welcome!!
Thanks for the welcome!
