I'm kind of doing some PPFD testing on seedlings. Day 1 is when they broke soil.

Day 1 started at 150 ppfd and ended off around 225
Day 2 started at 225 and slowly ramped up to 300 ppfd by the end of the day
Day 3 just started 6 minutes ago at 300 and I may bump up to 350-400

yeah i remember veronica and i saw that cheryl didn't appear until 1982 and i graduated HS that year.

Day 4 starts now and I've bumped up to 400 ppfd

Day 5 starting at 400 ppfd. I might leave it here for another day then slowly work my way up to 500 over the next 4 days.

Day 6 bumped up to 425 ppfd. Noticing some slight stress on leaf edges but also good growth so will keep going as part of the test.

Well I got a result. Too much leaf stress going on. Back down to 325 ppfd for 4-5 days and then I'll try to make my way up to 500

Day 7 dropped the ppfd down to 325 and will stay here for probably 4-5 days and then I'll continue the journey to 500 ppfd.

So going forward for the first 12-14 days after breaking soil 325 will be my max ppfd for seedlings.

I completely stunted my seedlings this grow by running too high PPFD. I think you’re making the right call backing it off.
