Spider mites in soil/ heat death?

So I had a grow with living soil. I got spider mites during that grow. I wanted to re-use the soil because I’m broke. I filled two black garbage bags with the soil and tied them real tight. I left them in a sunny spot outside for the last five months or so during all the heat of summer. Do you think that heat would be enough to kill mite eggs?

My novice instinct is no, not the ones deep inside anyway.
