Ok. We are officially one week into flower. I finally hooked up my Blumats, and they seem to be working?!?! Fingers crossed anyway. I installed a scrog net today to even the canopy and provide a little support. Everything seems dialed in so far.

niiiiiiiiiiiiice! I have been waitin to see a blumat grow. We have a wicked grower lurker here @MuskyHunter2020 who has like a 4x6 giant bed of super soil with a "blumat on steroid" watering system. Same exact principal I believe just scaled for multiple plants in same pot. I am really lookin forward to what you think of them. Is this the first time you have used em? Ladies lookin sexxy

First time for me. Really easy to install and water flowed to each carrot as expected. Automatic watering will really make life easier once that tent fills up. I’m running a living soil of sorts so having the soil maintain its moisture is really important. Will definitely keep you updated on how they work!

A quick update:
Day 16 of flower. Everything going as planned. The Trifecta took care of the Aphids. One more application and I will move to preventative dosing. Big thanks to @CannaGranny for the recommendation and advice. Heres few shots of the flower tent:

The Veg room is getting a bit crazy. The SFV OG, MB15, and Larry Bird are getting huge. I’ve got a while before I can throw them in the flower tent, so I’m going to have to start trimming them back. Also in here is Tropicanna Banana ( the medium size plant in the middle.) I cut clones of my OG, Bubba, Grape Cream Cake, Grape Gas, and Runtz. Also this week Wedding Cake, Banana OG, Jealousy, and Sour Diesel arrived courtesy of @Trustfall.

That's fkin awesome(Please excuse the language Sensei 🙇‍♂️) and your tents are on fire. You have a dispensary of options. Really nice work. I am struggling MIGHTILY not to hit you up for why I should not be going blumat vs whatever I am thinking. No dry spots? How? How can you put drip on one side of 3, 5, or 7g fabric pots and have it saturate the side the blumat isn't on? Is the "gravity" part an issue when feeding/watering?

Lol. I’m going to add a second blumat system to the veg room soon. They’re awesome. The water drips out of the carrot and then spreads down through the medium and keeps everything a consistent moisture. Its so simple yet effective. I haven’t added any additional water to that flower tent since I installed the blumats other than filling the 5 gal reservoir.

Glad to know you have those monsters under control! I would continue the preventative sprays weekly with this crop. You can use this up until almost harvest. Make sure you use this on your veg plants as well. When you get through this grow, do two preventive sprays on the new crop and you should be good to go. My ladies even seem to groove on it. Keep me posted! 😍

I also run blumats. I’d recommend adding more tubing on your supply line loop so it lays on the floor instead of hanging along the sides of the pots. Obviously that would also require longer tubing to the drippers. You’ll find you’ll be adjusting those drippers to maintain your hanging drip much less often when there is no tubing weight hanging from the pots. Don’t know if all that makes sense, lol.

Makes sense to me and I never really thought about it.
There is pressure/resistance in flow where the tubes are ' bent/ kinked ' over the edge of pot as opposed to having a nice curve/loop bridging over the pot.
Kinked line compared to non kinked line.
Good eye and info. 👍

Good call out. Thanks! I wasn’t sure if the distance between the floor and the top of my 5 gallon containers would impact the ability for water to flow. Your comment make sense tho.

The height you keep your reservoir will be the factor for flow.
I would try to keep the res as high as possible and even then, keep the level of water pretty even.
Less water equals less weight equals slower flow..
A simple float valve would keep your res full all of the time.

My Res is elevated about 4 1/2 feet. I just ordered more supply tubing for the unit I am building for my veg room. When that comes in, I will re-run the supply line in my flower tent to lay flat on the ground. Thank you all for the guidance.
