I am a fairly new grower. I’m starting my third run. I’m doing autos from Humbolt seed. I will be planting today.

I'm a disabled vet and have found cannabis to help with PTSD. My problem is that I live in an illegal state.
I look forward to making friends here

Welcome🤝
If I were in an illegal state I would not be posting about my grows in a public forum. You've already suffered greatly for your service, no need to add to your suffering due to more politics.✌️

Morning harry. There are a ton of people living in Illegal states that post here. I wouldn’t sweat it! I live in an illegal county. Welcome. All of us Yanks live in an illegal country.

Valuing weed more than freedom? SILLY!

Until the past few years, cannabis was illegal in all the states and could carry serious jail time for simple possession. Million upon millions of people resisted bending to authority throughout that time for many different reasons, all of them valid. Those acts of of dissent ignoring a silly law is what led to you being able to freely use cannabis today. You shouldn’t call those how paved the way, and in some cases still carry the banner silly, you should thank and support them.

I see both sides in this argument. I have considered the risk for a year. But I’ve reached a point where standing up for what I feel is right is requirEd. I started smoking in high school. I abstained for 37 years. My plan is to move to a legal state, ASAP.

Spoken like someone who has never felt the burn of fire.

👍✌️

President Biden’s pardon of nonviolent federal pot convictions yesterday is heartening, but still a half measure when there are far more people convicted in State courts.

Anything short of full expungement for all non violent pot convictions and recognition of the right to home grow isn’t going to cut it.

No, actually, one of the people you should thank. Arrested in 1973 for possession, more careful since that time.
Thank you. But I'm going to refrain from further political discussion as I want to do some grow journals with some beans I got from some great folks here and it's my understanding that political discourse is outside of the boundaries of the Farm. ✌️

Thank you and I look forward to watching your grow log. My best grow log was 2016. Had so much help and encouragement from here that it made for a stellar year. Hope you hit a homer.

I’m sorry for that.

We’ve had legalization bills in the US for the past ten years. If we wait on elected official, it’ll take foreve.
Yup. Thank you.
Even after I was convinced by friends to bring my grow into a actual garden orchard in 2009 , It took years for me to actually believe what I was doing was now legal. Finally, in June of 2016 a neighbor, retired police officer 👮‍♀️ called in the sheriffs as I was relaxing 😎 in my garden. They did a low spin around the center of my plants at maybe 150 foot elevation before flying off, back where they came. They flew off and I never heard from them since. Made for a few paranoid days, but eventually I mellowed to the knowledge that our world had actually changed. Peace.

Helicopters make me me want to low crawl to start with.fortunately I have a thirty to square foot closet that is a no fly zone.
