They turned out to be just fine. Trichs are all still intact, the WW is wicked purple today.
Love seeing these fall colors.
Had to chop a little on the early side but she was done. I think we figured out it was Bubble Gum.

Congratulations on your first successful grow. Every year you will learn something new and you will be able to get better and better. It looks good and you did better than my first grow. But that was the early 2000s and not much help or support on the internet so I had to figure it out on my own. I hope you kill it the next round.Just to sum up my first grow. Had to chop a week and a half early because of mother nature but I learned a lot and ended up with 5.75 oz from one plant. Definitely a head banger that mellos out over time and keeps you chill for quite awhile. So, yeah me... Successful grow and can't wait until my next run.
Thanks, me too lol.Congratulations on your first successful grow. Every year you will learn something new and you will be able to get better and better. I have done a h2o2 bud wash on all but one of my outdoor plants this year. The non washed and a couple washed are in their curing phase now and from my early sampling the washed stuff is a smoother feel.Chopped the oldest and youngest girls this morning. I got the drying area dialed in and can hopefully get some snap, crackle, pop on the stems within a couple weeks. The whole house smells like grilled pineapples and diesel fuel from this Maui Wowie, which is pleasant enough that I hope that roommates don't mind
2 down, 1 to go!

On a side note, I used light pressure, the strong spray setting on the hose nozzle, and a lot of water to rinse these buds off, and I'm glad I did. It's hard to see in the pics, but the film contains quite a bit of what looks like dust, pollen, and cobwebs.

I washed for the first time ever this year, (outdoor crop), and it did have some kind of film on the water that was noticeable, like a mixture of dust/pollen and oil of some sort. The plants were so sticky that I'm sure they were magnets for everything in the air, which would make your pollutant hypothesis make sense. The plants are still drying, but I'm real interested to see if the washing is noticeable on the smoking side.I think a lot of what washes off is hydrocarbons from pollutants, little oil slicks on the water.
