Those vacuum seal-a-meal type bags work well. I don't have one, but a couple of friends use them.

I’ve switched from mason jars to Mylar bags for long term storage. The Mylar bags seem to keep the buds fresher than the jars.

not true at all..
if anything any kinda bag storage can damage trichomes much easier..
as long as the jar stays below 70 degrees and in the dark, there’s nothing better for protection..
whatever storage you use needs to be air tight..

I use the mason jar attachment for the food saver vacuum sealer. I add a humidipack like a Boveda to the jar and then vacuum the air out of the mason jar. Doesn’t damage the buds and reduces air exposure at the same time.

c’mon people how in the world is any kind of bag better than a jar?
seriously?
geezus since all this has been legalized, sooo much unnecessary products,
spend spend spend on all junk you don’t need..
Few jars in here have been over a year and just keep getting better, like a fine wine:)
Don’t forget to burp your ladies!
They like it, the humidor is full of joints. I don’t smoke tobacky:

I attended a seminar by Grove Bags and they claim that their bags don't collect trichomes and are made to seal better than glass jars.. But I'd have to see it to believe it. Oh and they also claimed they don't require Boveda packs. Pretty bold statements if you ask me. I've also seen a lot of reports from people saying they lost a lot of humidity using Grove bags. So I'm on the fence on that issue. Maybe there are bags that do seal better than glass jars, but in my opinion the sturdiness of a jar will lead to less breakage/shake in the end...

It was a part of CannaCon 22. They held several seminars over the weekend and one was a seminar about packaging and marketing your products - about 5 minutes into it I could already tell Grove Bags was behind it as they were pushing all of their products. Then I saw the same guy that gave the seminar behind their booth on the convention floor and it all made sense 🤣

Thank you, but I know my results. I kept the mason jars in the dark in cardboard boxes with lids. I kept some of our 2016 harvest for 4 years in mason jars.
My Mylar bagged cannabis is then stored in the same cardboard boxes in the same area and seems as fresh as when we bagged it last season.
I don’t mind if your results differ, but to say my comment is not true at all is very low brow.
I have 300 mason jars I am willing to let go at a good price.

If using jars or stainless steel I like to line them with parchment paper so buds don't rub the glass and leave resin behind.
Past couple years though I've switched from jars and Cvaults to mylar and then Grove Bags.
I like the grove bags for more efficient storage space, can fit much more in my fridge than jars or vaults, plus they maintain RH without packs and dont steal trichs off buds.
I don;t vacuum seal anymore, just eliminate as much head space as possible, a gentle squeeze to push almost all the air out, then store in the fridge at around 50-55 degrees. It's also a great slow cure and for long term storage. Mine is usually in there up to 9 months with no loss of anything so five months shouldn't be a problem at all

Grove Bags. Junk? I'll join in this fight for whoever wants a piece I'm in a feisty mood 😂

My results speak for themselves and I'll gladly put them up against any jarred bud. If you'd like me to post a video of me cutting open a heat sealed bag from April so you can see how they are just dry powdery crap and they've lost all their moisture just let me know /s

Cool. I can tell you have experience burping 300 mason jars at a time.
Ok? I'm sorry if I missed something, but are you really selling them or just being facetious? I don't mind the extra work, everything on my farm is done by hand, anyway. I have a crop of smokable hemp flower coming down next week that we need to start thinking about storage options for. 🤠

that’s probably the only good thing if needed is storage space compared to jars..
i store my in plastic 5 gallon pails until needed and it’s always as just like the day i put it in there, stinky, sticky/marshmallow like..
i make hash and oil so i need to protect every trichome i got..

Ok. I've had a couple coffees and managed to mellow out a bit but some of yall defend Mason Jars like you personally got stocks invested in MSNJR 😌 Can we all not just be happy and appreciative of more options?
