usually i look for plants with obviously lots of resin production and not a lot of leaf material in buds..
i’ve got a couple more seed packs to go through before hopefully settling into a afghanica landrance that i have.. if not i’m thinking of only growing landrance strains from hash making countries..
Yeah I think if hash and oil is the name of your game, that would be the way to go if you have a good source for those imported genetics. I've been looking for a while with no luck. Violator was close. A lot of stuff I've tried over the years hasn't turned out as good as I hoped, although I do have someone trying to get me the cut used for that unicorn hunter. The dragon cheese from DFG was really nice too. But Afghan/Indian/lebanese/ Moroccan hash plants just make a different, and totally unique product. Unique between regions even. But for some reason, theyre all distinctively hashy, unlike any of the modern indoor varieties bred to be smoked as flower, which almost all seem to make a lighter colored extract that tastes more weedy than like hash to me.

Someone told me years ago that true hash was half weed and half opium. Ever hear that before?✌️

Temple balls were apparently made that way in some parts of the Golden triangle back in the day. A hash ball with a lump of opium in the middle and hash wrapped around it and aged that way for a year until everything inside the outer crust of the ball sorta mixed. I don't think it was half and half though, I think it was only a small amount of opium added.

Perfect choice of flower too! First plant I have ever grown that left a dark oily place on my hands. Like working in pancake syrup.
I had mine tested yesterday, it came back 37.020%. So, that 37% is for sure a fact!
when did you harvest at what week?
trichome colour percentage average?

This plant was straight up ready at 9.5 weeks. I tend to take them at ninety percent milky ten amber. Unless it’s specifically pain med then seventy milky and thirty amber. This was some of the most compact flower I have ever grown. It literally takes scissors to get it broke down to roll one up.
A lot of ppl seem to be growing this, however yours is the only one that looks exactly like mine. I had a month cure on this prior to testing, if that makes any difference. This one was also a first gen clone. I started with seed but this round was a clone.

One thing I noticed was normally by cloning it cuts the size of the plant. Sometimes as much as fifty percent. Not this lady. Same size plant, flowers. Just excellent genetics. Looking at what some others are growing and calling Future 1, I am greatly suspect of. Looks different than what we are growing and was part of the reason I had it tested to start with. I wanted to know I had the real deal. I expected it to be so as I have never been let down nor fooled by the guy I got the seed from. However, the old saying “seeing is believing” came into play. Now that she has tested out like she has, there is no question.
Was kind of funny as when I got back to pick up the results the young lady that did the testing said, well, we have them done but got some strange results. So, we ran it again and got the same results. Said was the first to test that high in their labs.
I am having it retested in another lab this coming week. Have to take a day as we cannot mail it. It’s a three hundred mile round trip! This next set of tests will reconfirm the THC percentage and the terps, so we will know even more then. I’ll keep ya posted.

Is anything better than striping a tee shot while baked out of your mind? Miss playing golf up north. It’s very different in the south!
