Also do not add more lime from here on out. It take a few weeks for the lime in your soil to activate… so don’t over compensate by adding more.

what brand of soil is it?

does the EC runoff work in the soil?
I just started my adventure with EC and I already have too many questions, I sit and google everything about EC and ppm but there are not enough specific answers, people from Jacks say that they add mine from my water to their EC on veg (2.4)+ (0.6) but it is too much I will burn the plants, others say that I can give the maximum EC 1.3 and with my water I do not know where the truth is and I am afraid to hurt the girls

So you want to use EC and PH for your nutrients that your feeding. But as far as runoff you only need to measure PH. You can record the EC of runoff also but only use it to see how its trending not to try and determine the nutrients in the media.

soil itself contains organic matter. This article will help explain why ppm is not a good way to measure nutrients of soil

So in that soil water until you see a tony amount of runoff and stop.

you do NOT want lots of runoff or you will wash all your nutrients out of the soil. A flush was not a good idea… also dont add anymore lime. As i say the PH of soil like that will change over the first few weeks. The lime takes time to activate and that’s normal to see a lower PH at first

Thank you very much Aquaman I will do as you wrote I reduced the light I will give them more hours at night let them rest, I just do not know what to count EC with watering next

in a week I will make a video of what is happening with the ladies and tell me where I am, thank you again for your help God is with you

You only need to feed once next watering… the soil contains nutrients so no need to add any for probably 3-4 weeks maybe longer. water only until you see run off.

Have a read here. Watering properly will be your biggest challenge so you need to get that down first. Watering to often or not often enough will make it hard for the plant to take up nutrients.

Next grow may be think about a different soil without the time released nutes ? Just an opinion

For sure light stress ! I also wonder about the wood chip top dress ? Why? And if wrong wood chips are used could cause issues? I’m asking
May or may not be… they help retain soil moisture

Even in soil I prefer as many fertigations as I can get, well too a point , and I run promix right now not really soil but peat based
Yeah me too… more beneficial for gardens and beds

Our new Hemp Shiv Mulch is designed to protect the soil as well as other options, but to feed the soil with carbon, there isn’t much better.

Hemp Shiv is the chopped up stalks once the seed has been removed, it is ideal to return biomass to the soil and due to it’s high lignin content it drives powerful fungal development.

Worms love it and is much easier to use than straw.

With soil if you never tested what the runoff was with just plain tap then you have no baseline to go off of.
The soil has something and when you create runoff some 'elements' from the soil is added to the original tap EC. It has to be higher than taps EC. 🤷‍♂️
You don't know what that was so now everyone is just guessing.🤔
lime for one thing, plus all the other stuff they put in. New bags of cocoloco are 2000-3000ppm. I haven't tested the promix.

Yeah i dont like woodchips as the microbes use nitrogen to break it down.once decomposed it releases n back into the soil though.you could use lucerne or pea straw as that releases n..i use both on outdoor plants..worms love it..

I make tea every 4 weeks with alfalfa and seaweed plus other additives

Aqua I made tea and mixed it with RO water before watering I had 480ppm and 0.8EC after watering 1200ppm and 2.2 EC should I be afraid to leave it and just check before. water ph before 6.6 after 6.4

nope just let it do its thing… update with pictures and that way we can see how the plants respond

I think they seem to improve their appearance
