Hey growers, quick question.

Will hypochlorous acid kill beneficial bacteria?

I use it with Athena and I'm aware that it controls bacteria and scale, but I'm having a fungus gnat problem and I've been using microbe lift bti, but I'm still seeing larvae and Fungus gnats in my room. Been about 2 weeks and they're still around. I alternate sprays with different ingredients to control the adults, but can't break the cycle by killing the larvae. I've used bti in every feeding for that last two weeks as well.

Starting to think the acid is killing the bti before it gets a chance to kill the larvae. Any info would be appreciated

I would think the hypo is killing just about everything - I use it along with h202 for gnats

And sulfur/ spinosad

I spray with spinosad in my rotation, but I've heard you can drench with it. I can get 30% h202 from a hydro store. What dilution do you run and what percentage h202 do you mix with it? I may have to go that route. My grow is fairly large so I'd likely have to go the concentrated route.

Would be ideal if I could use the h202 then run the bti, may do that and take away the hypo for a week or so to let the bti do its job.

Currently

I’m using 34% h202 at 0.3ml /Gallon-milk jug.

Have not used more than 0.5ml per gal of 34% h2o2 out of fear of damaging the roots.

This is my spinosad product currently

I’ll use a few ml a gal

Awesome, thanks my dude. I'm prob gonna scoop some h202 up tomorrow. Do you run with your nutes or just plain water flush with it?

Hey guys! I have a quick question. I’m having some root issues with browning for my hydroponic grow. I’m using Hypochlorous acid to help promote rot growth and cleanse the water, but I’m wondering if I can use great white along with the acid? Will they work together and help the plant, or should I only use one or the other?
