Think i misread your hygrometer on the humidity, but yeah either way that VPD is out of range for veg. Are you in a tent with air circulation or you in a room? If you're in a room, you may just need to get a bigger humidifier that outputs the mist, that really helps ramp up the humidity and stay there. I keep mine in my tent running 24/7 on Level 1 of 3 with 3 fans in my tent and a 4" AC Infinity exhaust. With my lights and that running with constant air cycling, I can control my VPD pretty much within .88-1.14. I know it's tough getting it under control, but once you do you'll see a difference in the growth from seedlings to full veg. I'm almost certain this is your issue.
A friend built a 5.5โ€™x5.5โ€™ room in My basement. So itโ€™s basically a tent.
I was thinking the same thing that my vpd is way off too. But I had healthy plants in there for a while with the same temps/humidity.

Itโ€™s hard for me to get my temps and humidity to stay high. I think my exhaust fan is too much. Itโ€™s a 6โ€ fan it has two settings. Itโ€™s on high. Want to change to low. But I have to get to the inside of my fan to change fan speed. And that means I have to take most of my shit down to get inside my fan.

Iโ€™m hoping that since my switch to 12/12 that my dpl will be in a good range. If my plants stay the same for 5 days or so I will lower the power of my light. Butโ€ฆ. Itโ€™s seems like Iโ€™m running to low right now anyways .

The white spots is PM. I have used lost coast plant therapy the past two days to try and tame the powdery mildew.

They are in 7 gallon pots so I donโ€™t think they need more soil. But idk.
I use 3 gallon so your pots are big enough. unless I veg over 2 months then I'll go to 5 gallon....even then I have plants now 10 weeks in veg and they're just flipped still in 3 gal pots The bigger they are the longer they take to dry, I water or feed every 3-4 days...in 3 gal 4-5 days in 5 gal...just to compare .

Is it possible that the humidifier is causing some of the white patches on the leaves (minerals in the water?)??

Also appears that a lot more soil could go in those pots.
None of these really address the question at hand, just observations.
if it is minerals then there goes the humidifier. minerals attract algae and once they turn green ....2 - 3 week........ they're hard - impossible to clean.....I went through a few before I started using RO water at 0 ppm

1000000% do not use tap water or mineral water in a humidifier, RO water only or you will ruin the humidifier and get white residue all over your area if ran for extended periods!

You and @PipeCarver are talking about ultrasonic/mist humidifiers. Evaporative humidifiers can use tap and they don't leave mineral deposits.

Thatโ€™s good to know. I just got my humidifier. Only used two days.
I have a water tank that I run air stones in and also a water heater so when I water my plants the water is 69 degrees. And maybe the air stones and letting it sit there for a few days will knock some of the ppm down? I donโ€™t have a RO thing. And am not gonna buy one just to run my humidifier.

I donโ€™t have RO setup for my water. I do live in a country where you donโ€™t drink the water so I buy 50 gallons of RO a week and just use that. I can get 50 gallons of RO for around $12. There may be options to buy it in water jug gallons, grocery stores will also sell them.

I buy my water it costs me $6.50 per week at peak usage I'll use 16 gallons 2 -5 gal and 2- 3 gal containers and its only for the humidifiers....other wise they'll foul up real quick....green is not good.....walmart has distilled water we buy for my cpap machine it has minerals removed where as RO water doesn't

You're humidifier isn't good if your humidity is only %40 return and get a new one you need one for drying your harvest. You're tryna bring ppm down for the humidifier??

I got a cheap 6l humidifier. That isnโ€™t even top load so I have to take the water jug off the machine to fill it up.(bad purchase).
I have a dehumidifier for when I need to dry my harvest.
The damn heater lowers my humidity. My garage sits at 60-70% humidity. And my room with the heater on(only during lights on) is 35-40%.

Que? with a slap to the head...I didn't Qnow that....( Q is silent) Fk ( K )'s I have a few of both I use RO in all.....Once I learn something I stick with it so I'm not sure this new info will change my habits.....lol......it takes me a long time to get things in mt head and all of a sudden someone comes along and throws a wrench into my works.....now I gotta fking google.....thanks for that๐Ÿ˜
๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿค“

You are correct, Iโ€™ve only used ultrasonic. Thank you for the correction
There it is, the 1 thing I learned today, they say we learn something new every day, I think that stopped for me a few years back but today I at least Qnow I Qnow something new today...........I've a black cat named Qnight and people want to call him Que - night............No ! the " Q " is silent........you guys down in Mexico can get away with it......why not me?.........I'm not a fan of K's..........lol....Good smoke eh?

I live in San Francisco. I tried outdoor and it gets way to humid in sep-October and get bud rot big time. So no more outdoor for me
Ok just making sure . Sounds like you can dry in your garage. There's alot of people on here that grow with low humdiity/VPD . So you can too.

I remember why I stopped growing 8 years ago.
I did 4 grows. Only one did I end up smoking. The other three I pretty much just tossed my harvest.

Not as easy as it seems.

But I want to grow some dope. I donโ€™t even really smoke that much anymore. But itโ€™s fun and it keeps me busy.

in SF.....wow I'm talking to a millionaire, or a street person......if your trying to grow you must be a Millionaire.

I've been in SF many times....I haven't been now in 30 years, I loved it there, specially in the winter months because I was coming down from the cold North. I lived in San Louis Obisbo for 2 years off and on in the late 70's early 80's. I've driven through the Bay area a dozen or more times and in and out of the airport a few times as well. When it gets cold up here I long for those days in the sun...or fog....depending on the season..........Greetings!!!๐Ÿ˜
