Hey all. Second time grower here, and I also have a height concern. My tent is a baby compared to others. 2x2x4 ft. I have just the one gelato auto inside, and it's trying to burst out of it! I think I'm 7 weeks into the grow and my girl doubled in size when it started flowering. I did some lst the first couple of weeks, but I'm stumped on any more training. I just dont have an inch of space anywhere! I've already removed the exhaust fan and top mounted it to make more room to raise my little 100w led light. I'm not even sure if the light is strong enough to burn or even harm my plant. But, in a few days the main cola will more than likely make contact with the light board. I'm open to any criticism, so dont go easy on me. Please help. I'm not really sure how to get growers to see this post and reply. So please tag a friend if you could. Thank you!

I'm scared to chop the top of the main. But is that something I should consider? I would imagine it's too late for something so stressful. Also I would be heartbroken to loose that promising pack of main cola buds. It just wont stop stretching to the light board!

Facts the light is the reason. damnnn. If you're gonna supercrop you might as well just chop the top off. I personally believe topping heals faster than a repair does.

maybe supercroping, or some bending , training, 100 wt light might be the problem causing it to stretch for light
I was afraid my light is too weak. My first grow[zkittlez auto] my plant was nowhere near as large. I think this strain is begging for more though.

Don't rush your decision. If the plant seems happy then it's happy.

This is good advice. I'm just going to let it grow until I see any problems. It does seem happy and healthy. I almost cant find a leaf that looks unhealthy. What do you think?

I would try and film from the top down but I would have to completely take the light out to get my phone on top of the plant. I'm to scared to remove the plant from the tent bc I dont want to damage and leaves or branches

what distance did you run the light from canopy during this grow before space became an issue

you could literally pinch the stem near top of top cola, not to kill her but just to let spend time healing that and allowing sides to catch up.( im not saying go pinch just suggesting research into the topic )

Right before it really started to flower it was about 8-10 inches away. Then it grew another 8-10inches in a few days...

My nightmare became reality this morning when I checked on her... the main cola was pressed against the board, hard, and it was starting to burn. I opted to chop the top..... nothing about it felt good. I just hope my girl will live on and make some buds. Let me know what you guys think.

It’s really in the strength of the genetics

Edit: make sure it doesn’t have balls

Once I buy a stronger light, [ maybe a bigger tent ] I really want to try another one of these gelato autos again. Its size is really promising.
