I topped the plant 3 days ago above the 5th node after the 7th node was well on it's way. Is that good new growth for 3 days? The second picture shows at the blue arrows where I was wondering if I should trim these two lower branches that are almost in the soil. My goal with this plant is to flip it to flower as soon as it's safe to and then to harvest. Wife is not to fond of the smell. I think it smells fantastic. Thanks for any help, Sean

The smell? Is she not outdoorsy? It just smells like a tree right now. But as for your question. I wouldn't prune anything. More leaves= photosynthesis

Trim them. It won't hurt the plant and it's well along it's way so no issues with stunting. I get what you mean. You don't want the leaf material touching soil to start any disease or infestation. Probably not a big deal but, again, it won't hurt the plant and it's a good preventative. JMO.

BTW the growth question is you're fine. Good growth for 3 days.
