Gotta say for the $50 the tent costs it has all good reviews lol obviously cheap but an improvement for me, big thing for me will be air circulation in the 4x4 i believe the 4” exhaust can give it all the fresh air it needs and it’ll have to pull up through the canopy, I have that in line fan I bought but that’s my plan for isolating light leaks on the 4x8before I flip to 12/12 since that room is trafficked a lot during the day but I can always buy another one for the 4x4 was thinking pull air from the top and push it fown to the bottom with a 4” flex duct, not sure if that would do any good as it’s just circulating the tent air

Well the candy kush is loving being in flower, she just got her first small dose of flower fuel before I left for work and we’ll see how she likes it tomorrow

She’s late for the net I mostly just organized to separate tops we’ll see if some of the lowers stretch up to fill in some gaps

these WYZE cams are nice as hell, I turned off indicator lights and IR, These lights are awesome in full spectrum, apparently not a fan of blurple lights I’ll mess around with them tomorrow after I get out of work. But damn I’ve been through tons of cameras over the years (just set up a 10 camera system for my in-laws) and these were by far the easiest setup ever, literally 30 seconds worth of work and the settings are easy as hell to navigate

I have a 3rd one, haven’t decided if it’s going to point at the wood stove or if I put together my clone tent and put a camera in there too

Gotta grab some SD cards I wanna time lapse all 3 tents

Night vision dosent work at all, with the IR lights shut off it has no picture, but that’s ok, I just need 1 picture a day of them in the same position so I can string them all together into a time lapse. I may just fill time record and let it overwrite itself and just know that I need to take a picture of a certain time stamp every day we’ll see what’s easiest

Ok did some 6 hour research into infrared on security cameras etc lol, plants see the IR wavelength up to 780nm (was 700 but was changed?!?) most security cameras use IR lights at 850 and above and the plants do not detect that, I’ll go with that’s why so many people have time lapse of their plants growing without issue lol.

So with that said checked again into the cameras I bought and it has an… overly advanced amount of settings for a $30 camera lol. But this light lets you choose what type of night vision bear and far, near uses 4x 940nm LEDs and Far uses 4x 850nm LEDs im obviously close to the plant so near it is! I guess she’s the test!

Nice to be able to see the girls right at lights on, also some other features WYZE makes that I think could be quite beneficial, remote controlled plugs through the app I can see that being helpful in certain situations, I’m gunna add wireless smoke detectors as well, I already have one in the main tent that alerts directly to my phone but I wanna add them all into one app

Time lapse video test success, doing a 14 hour test on both tents now, but here was the 20 minute at 3 second intervals, the videos I’m doing of each tent tonight I’m testing 8 minute intervals in one tent and 5 minute intervals in the other so we’ll see what’s what

Honestly I’m thinking every 6 hours will probably be the sweet spot but we’ll see

Yeah I’ll have to extend time I can see the leaf droop and raise in the full spectrum tent but I’ll have to bring my blurple tent camera a bit closer, there’s 64GB cards in each camera so it’s more a test to see how much they can hold I can only time lapse up to one month at a time anyways so at that point I’ll have to stop, download the video, then restart, I’ll buy bigger cards if needed, it says if formatted correctly it can use 512gb cards or more so, I’ll start with a 1 week Timelapse recording and see how many GB it uses

Ive cheated lol
I’ve got an ezviz camera which Is connected directly to my phone and laptop allowing me to edit and delete without even going to my grow space lol I haven’t tried time lapse on it tho which when I do I’ll make sure I tag u lol

That’s what I do, it’s all stored on the card in the camera but you don’t need to remove the card to get the video, you just download it directly to your phone or computer with the app

Here’s what it looks like in the app

The time lapse videos in the last pic are what are downloaded to your phone, editing them I haven’t tried yet I’ve only downloaded them to my phone so far to upload here

Can’t show all the steps doing another 24 hour test in both tents at 5 minutes I seemed to like that so we’ll see how that looks it’ll fill a card quick though lol, I figure I could average a week of recording per 64GB card, I may upgrade both to 128 or 264 go cards I have one 128 go availabe but we have a blizzard coming so I may be putting the 3rd camera outside to time lapse the storm not sure how bad it’s supposed to get other than heavy snow 65mph wind, wind chills -24f

Just got the flues on the 2nd wood stove patched up in the basement where the wall glue ties into the chimney flues that I wanted to do, just letting it dry now then have to cure it tomorrow morning then I’m ready for the storm on Friday / Friday night through the weekend gunna need the heat down there to keep the girls warm

Ok maybe it’s time to replace the bedroom homemade tent , bought the cheapest 4x4 I could find… I’ll have to make it work in the room, no biggie it’s a straight up bedroom for me when I work midnights so I don’t wake the wife and kids when I’m having a joint and beer at 7am

So I’ll figure it out but it’ll be nice to have a actual tent in there that I can walk into then I figured why not scrog it right? Single plant, just started flower, It’ll work lol, either way I’ll make a 4x4 on the next run no matter what lol,

Went as cheap as possible, the 2x KingLED 1500’s and spiderfarmer 4” exhaust from the current tent will be in there, have some moving around to do but might use the other tent for clones and early veg I’ll see what I can do, I can always live it to the crawlspace since it dosent needle a lot of height and I have 48” available in there and it’s a 40’x50’ crawlspace adjoining my basement all concrete it’s actually wide open and is part of my lung room for my main tent

Man, the plants are looking lovely! I wish I had the room for your kind of setup, I'm slowly nudging my wife to get a mother tent, maybe after my first run, she will be more open once she samples the homegrown (as long as I dont screw it up!)

Whatever works right! That gives me a great idea for the big tent haha both bottom flaps are open and I dropped 2x 6” flex ducts from the top vents into the tent and they go right behind the fan right above the camera I’m just waiting on blacked out 6” flex duct to re duct the tent and then I think I’m flipping to flower

I have a 4” in line fan i think I’m going to add to the one inlet just for some extra forced air

Here’s a pic of the fan (sitting in its box atm) the duct (will be here tomorrow)

Also I decided to keep the homemade tent for now lol so for how she’s a clone tent I have 2 more of those bars I may put tomatoes or something in there and see if they will grow with 4 of those lights it’s what I originally wanted a tent for and … here’s where we’re at now

Oh man, just got upgraded to blizzard warning and I have to work tomorrow, I’m supposed to get there right as it’s moving in, I drive 40 minutes to work on a good day lol, just brought in a cord of wood and have another half sitting just outside the door, supposed ti get 2-3 feet + 70mph + winds and windchills down to -25

Picked up 40 gallons of gas yesterday for the genny but that’s will be for the 3 fridges and keeping everyone comfortable especially if I can’t make it home like the last big storm and it’s all on my wife so time to really set up

I really hope we don’t lose power but with the flash freeze after the rain plus that wind and snow… it’s not looking good

On the upside I may have a few time lapses soon we’ll see

I will be moving my outdoor camera to the front to time lapse the storm so if it does get bad it’ll be recorded… until the power goes out lol
