So I have a question about using a wood burning stove in the same room as an indoor cannabis grow. How would it effect the quality of the marijuana? Would the smoke from the wood stove leech harmful or deadly chemicals into the bud? Can it effect the flavor?

I think, It would be to dry and hot. You might pull it off with a humidifier. The buds will prou ly smell like smoke.i wouldn't recommend it. But don't let anything stop you from farming.i know at our place the wood stove produces alot of dust . Its proudly 100 to 120 degrees in the basement room where we keep it.it is our only heat source so we keep it raging especially today -30 outside.

If you can survive it your plants probably will also! It’s smoky around here for months. I think the lack of sunshine is harder on them than the smoke.

If you are in a building that is to code in the us the only impact would be low rh. Try to use the stove as a humidifier with a pot of water on it if you can.

If you are getting stove gasses in your living space you would show symptoms way before your plants.

What are the symptoms of being exposed to stove gasses? What can they do to marijuana plants in flowering stage?

We live in a very old, nearly dilapidated home. There's a doorway (still there) and an old wall that has been ripped out years ago. Instead of building a new wall we replaced it with a 5'x8' grow tent of which has 4 zipper doors-2 on each side. We open all the zipper doors sometimes and vent the smoke through the tent and doorway next to the tent. The stove is in what resembles a living room which was previously a master bedroom in the former days when the house was in better repair. The stove is very old and in disrepair as well. We would fix all these things but my boyfriend and I are not in good health and are very poor. We got these plants from seeds that were given to us.

Ok I understand. You say you are not healthy did you look up carbon monoxide poisoning and see if you have any symptoms? Don’t go to sleep until you do.

I have some symptoms of extended periods of exposure to smaller amounts of CO2. But this isn't the first winter we have used it and we have been mostly ok so far.

Sounds stupid, I know. But we have no other way to heat the house

I'm not sure it's some kind of fancy light that was given to us. The grow tent was also given to us because it was being thrown away.

Pls share a pic of your setup
