Dosi Cookies, sprouted dec 12
Coco/perlite 70/30
Lucas formula: 1tsp Maxibloom per gallon + Cronk Monkey Juice 2mL/gallon
pH 5.9
EC 1.5-1.7
18/6 under Mars Hydro TS-1000
Watered twice daily, approximately 100mL each time
Temp 20°C
RH 45%

Do you have any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? I had early pH issues because of an uncalibrated pH pen but that's been corrected for over a week and growth has still been minimal. Even the new growth looks to be stunted and malformed. Where the leaves are green, they're thick and almost leathery. I'm afraid to transplant her to fresh media while shes still so stressed otherwise I would have tried that already. Has anyone ever seen this before?

So, they have too much moisture. Thus the solution is to dry the growing medium. Do the cups have drainage holes?

I'm a soil grower, so what I would do is transplant them into fabric pots with fairly dry and well-drained soil. I think they can recover when the roots are happy.

To much light and to wet. Back the light way off and water less often. When the pot gets light then water.… if your not sure then its not ready to water
You can rely on the advice of the aqua to help you to get the ladies back on the right road. The most helpful and reliable advice you can find not to say that you can get help from a numerous farmers on the farm and there are plenty of them to help you with your garden. You can take that from a personal experience with a farmer who has been very much helped by the farmers in the last couple of years and the benefits are very obvious in the garden but a big shout out to the a/man who is a very knowledgeable and friendly person who will not steer you wrong on the advice. If he told you that black was white then it will be lol good people here peace ✌️👌

This is where I get confused - I thought the idea with coco/perlite was that you couldn't overwater, to always keep the medium saturated. I have been following the guidelines from cocoforcannabis.com, and although I'll admit I haven't been as fastidious about ec as recommended on that site, the highest it's ever been was 1.7

The light is approximately 18-20" above this poor little girl

The green algae annoys me to no end but i havent found a cheap easy way to prevent it and from what I've read it wont harm the plant any since there are an abundance of nutrients. I'm open to suggestions (with a focus on cheap and easy lol)

I have heard the hallowed name of Aqua Man whispered in the halls but never dared to dream he would shine his light of wisdom on this poor ignorant neophyte :-)

Ok so the problem is that the light stress is causing the plant not to take up enough if the free water in the media. Back the light off to 36” and only for 18 hrs a day.

are you meauring the amount of nutrient solution and runoff you are getting?

i go over gow to do that here. But only for coco and coco perlite. If you add any other amendments that changes things. What is the coco mix you are using?

a olant under stress will be subjected to many other stresses. The light is the main cause but thats leading to your media staying to saturated because its nit taking uo water properly since that causes transpirational stress also.

OP. Here's where you want to be at this stage in your grow.

Temp - 23c - 27c
Humidity - 60% - 75%

Leave them alone for 3 days. Check weight of pot on day 4. If it feels light your plant has recovered and is normalizing it's feed process. If not it's still trying to recover. Come back a couple days later and recheck. If pot is light water in 1/4 solution. Once it starts to recover you can step up to 1/2 and once you start getting continuous wet/dryback cycles you can go full strength.

Your light wattage is very low and the plant is doing all it can with what it has. Add more white light and see if that helps. .
