One of the best indicia ever I have grown this a few times a black domina x black domina from the speed seeds company in Spain and the smoke is pretty heavy and they have a very nice hash taste. I have also grown a black domina x bubblegum from the same seed bank and her taste was not much different but the size of the plants were a lot smaller than the plants had a very small structure but it is a good yielder but they say it will be a bit of a stretcher. As much as double the size so it is better to flower it when small. The ones I grew did not have much more than a 6"stretch and they were 12' when they were flicked so I wouldn't be following the stats on the literature but it was seeds. The original one I think anyway was a sensi seed back in the day when we had to buy regular seeds fem we're not a known thing to most people but the man who I bought the first grow set up from said that it was a very nice one to grow and I did a few years in the seeds were available in fem by then. The genetics of the plants are 4 of the best indicas that are out there Afghanistan and the hash plant +northern lights and the ortega in the mix its a bit of a couch locker very heavy for anybody who has things to do but it's a bit of a fav of mine yours look lush though lol its a nice smooth and strong strain good luck with your work mate and I will look forward to seeing you harvest them soon peace

Nice haul bro!! Make sure you leave that headspace open in them Grove Bags you should be able to fit the full bag capacity in lower portion. You can use these windows as a guide:

I have found that if I fill up to where the "top" window starts then I will have reached the bag capacity or slightly above it. eg my 1/4 G Bags filled up to that window usually have 120-140g of material in them with 25% empty headspace in the bags. 1/4lb = 112g.

I filled them 0.75lbs, 333g and 329g, in each 1lb bag, I just didn't push them down and left them kind of floating. I was wondering about that breathe space myself

yeah check the video that I linked up above, you should still leave 25% headspace no matter what for best cure some times you get more weight in there, some times you get less depends on your bud structure

Just realised that you have harvested your ladies excuse me for the last comment bless you by the way I have a little book from the sensi seed bank and the details of the black dom. It leaves me with the look of they have been beaten and whipped with strange smiles on their faces. Lol its not too bad for a description hopefully you will like it peace

Holy jeepers man that is a nice fricken harvest! Cant wait for you to crack that grove bag open and take in the aromas! 1.6lbs..lyou better buy king size rolling papers. Raw black are my faves cuz they burn clean n slow

i do have a lot of this kief like shake from the trimming process, i'm not sure about this, but i'm assuming i need to cure that before i use it?? so i'm burping that jar

@Shaded_One do i need to cure my fresh "screened" shake before i use it? i want to either make some cannabutter with it or maybe some kind of hash, idk what i can do with it

Appreciate it man! i've never seen you on here before, but welcome to the Farm and to my thread.

While i haven't enjoyed the finished/cured product yet, i share your enthusiasm for this strain. I got this for medical reasons as my sole qualifier when looking for strains. I got it because it's supposed to be a beast with helping abdominal cramps/pain and insomnia. I saw what you said about what the Sensi Seed book said on this strain, Black Domina. I've already posted the link on here before, but i will post the origins story of this strain again, cause i think you will really like it. I'm a sucker for a good story lol. This is a little more in depth origin story that you usually don't get when researching a "new" hybrid.

I could have done this grow a lot better, but still very happy with crossing the finish line, definitely had to fight to get them there, and my second fam on here def helped me get there. If i wasn't so stubborn it might have been easier lol
Unfortunately this will be the end of it, if i do this one again, i'll have to get more seeds.

Don't be scared to dip into a Grove Bag if you have nothing else :) I always have 1 bag that I leave un-sealed so that I can take out like an oz at a time so I have something to work with. It's not ideal but it actually gives you some insight and appreciation into what the cure can do for the bud even after just a month. I don't think Kief needs to be cured...but then again I've never even considered it and I don't usually get much from my trims :)

This^^ I'd be rolling around in that kief by now. Make sure you set some aside for baking. You could dial in some straight to the dome gummies I'd imagine. I still have a couple rocks of it upstairs I don't know what to do with. I think though for edibles you would decarb probably the same way

The verdict is in!!!
I opened this early 3 or so days ago, smelled great. I like it, but i'm def bias.
The past two days I've been giving out samples at work. The smell was so strong, even double bagging, that with only a few small buds, the office was just overwhelming... lol One of my coworkers in the office said it stinks in here, and she kept going around looking for stuff to clean... Then says "It smells like 90's weed in here" in an off-handed way. I took it as an amazing compliment!

But the real verdict is in tonight, my local grower and high tolerance friend just let me know that it is def good. That he's def feeling it. He just tried it tonight when he got off work.

So this thread is done.
The grow is over.

I would say this was a high yield plant.
Very potent smell and smooth earthy taste. I say that is to the dry and cure going very well.
The effects are a deep mellowing out. It does not feel super potent to me, but def good as any stuff i get from the dispensary that isn't in the "premium" tier.

If i had to give it a numerical rating, i'd say 8/10 overall.

Would I grow it again? Definitely a Yes.

Tips for anyone going to grow it?
It is at risk of hermie-ing. while it was only my second grow, my first grow did not, that I didn't treat as good as this one. So there is a risk. It happened to mine late in flower, i think the 4/5 week. so it could have been me more than genetics, but i think both were at play.

She responds well to trimming. The colas will need support near the last 2 weeks. This plant is very, very sticky, would be good for hash i think. I'm going to test that hypothesis here soon.

If anyone has any questions about growing it, feel free to ask. i didn't see any other diaries i think when i started this one on black domina

The coolest thing is that these are just a handful of absolute random buds out of one of the 0.8 lb bag I wasn't looking for the top cola buds or any that stuck out.

1.6lb for 5 plants in a 4x4. one that was very sickly and i almost killed.

You're good bro, i love talking about my one good grow out of two. i'm finally at the point where it's paying off. this yield will make the first failure and all of the gear worth it.
