I am glad this came up. I have been meaning to ask about this. I bubble my res water constantly. Doesnt leaving water sit for 24+ hours make it go anaerobic? I see a lit of people talking about doing it this way, I just assumed still water was not a good idea.

50-50 mix wont hurt to PH but may not be needed as @steamroller said the soil will buffer PH but mixed 50/50 has less buffering capacity so you may need to later in the grow. I dont suggest mixing those 2. A better option to mix is peat based and soil. Imo coco is best on it own or with perlite.

White vinegar, add small splash to 16oz cup of water and give plant, go light you can repeat. Baking soda will bring your ph up same drill, or buy ph up/ down.

No it allows the carbon dioxide in the form of carbonic acid to escape from the water since its under a pressurized system. The carbojic acid will lower PH so the PH of your tap water should rise avout 0.2-0.4 in 24 gours as it reaches equalibrium (by that i mean all gasses have reached balanced with the atmosphere) so o2 should be around 8-9ppm and co2 around 3ppm if I remember correctly

For the purpose of testing no aeration is needed.
If you are going to use your water in 24 hours I don't think aeration is necessary although possibly beneficial.
I stored and prepped hundreds of gallons at a time that needed to be the same every time. I aerated with bubbles and powerhead pumps even using a heater to have proper temperature.
It is not that difficult once you get system and baseline on your water.

Hey cypress...Im good bro thanks..you too I hope...ya all the tips are back to green...we flushed them with just water, and now we use 1 cap of white vinegar per gallon and it brings our tap right on point..

The problem with using tap water is the pH will most always rise even after using acid.
If you use rainwater or snowwater you will have a starting pH of 5.5. I use rainwater but I buffer it with cal mag carbonate before using it. I let the cal-mag set in the water for 24 hrs before adding nutrients. After mixing my pH is 6.2 without any swings everytime.
