First time grower, how fat should my buds be at week 5 of flower?

The fatness of your buds will depend on the genetics, and what you've done to increase branching. More tops generally means each top will be smaller than the same plant with fewer tops.

When I first started growing indoors, big buds and big colas were one of the goals. Now I get nervous about bud rot when I see big colas.
