Hey Gang, I'm 2-3 weeks on finishing my auto run , but just got some photo clones . I run my autos 24 hr light . I know the photo schedule is going to be different and I don't care if I lose these last autos ( taking longer than the majority to finish) but if I can finish them somewhat without hurting these clones that would be cool. Im wondering if I should run the light 24 straight then flip the photos to 12/12 or should I run the photos 18-6 and hope the autos don't stress out? Anyone ever do this successfully ? The one tent blues strikes again .....

If autos stress out when you drop the lighting from 24 hours/day to something else, there's even more I don't know about autos than I ever guessed.

Can you drop them to 20/4? Photos can handle that, just fine. They can probably handle 24 hours/day, but I've never done it.

This may be controversial but my feeling on that is, if your plants are healthy they don’t need a dark period. If there are some issues, even if you can’t see them, they can benefit from a dark period.

I don't do 24-0, but my good friend always does. It works.

Dr Bruce Bugbee would disagree with this statement, dark period is good even for autos you shouldn’t run 24/7 at least according to dr bruce bugbee.
