I have one plant grown from a feminized Diesel seed and she’s sprinting toward the finish line.
I’m growing in Coco amended with various dry organics. This plant has been almost perfect through Veg and now approx 50 days of flower. The only issue I’ve seen is some fairly recent burnt tips.
I’ve not top dressed heavily at all but I am blasting this girl with a bit more light that I’d usually run.
She’s under a HLG 320xl R-spec LED…..at 100% intensity, which is drawing 330w. The way the plant ended up being trained, the larger colas are around the outside perimeter and the center is all smaller tops. I have the light at 15” from the center tops, which puts the outer colas at only 10” or so.
The light meter shows a solid 1000ppfd.
I don’t see any other signs of too much light other than possibly the burnt tips.
Anyway, in all of my indoor grows I’ve never had a breeder timeline turn out to be accurate. Especially with autos they’re usually 2-4 weeks off…..but this one may actually be right on point. The timeline says 60-70 days and, to me, I think the buds should be in a good window in 15-20 days……but that’s just speculating and time will tell.
I will say that she is drinking slightly less water but I believe the buds still have some swelling left to do.
What does everyone else see here??
The buds are frosty, rock hard and are some of the strongest smelling I’ve had the pleasure of growing.
It does appear they are showing signs of foxtailing at the tips but that doesn’t really concern me. I don’t mind knuckled up flowers.
If anyone can give me any feedback on the strain in general and/or how this plant looks to them, I’d appreciate it.
By the way, the seed is from Homegrown Cannabis Co. I’d give the strain a 10 so far except I started with 2 plants and one them hermied in week 2 of flower. But the one I was left with has been outstanding.
