Morning @steamroller !
Wow! What a site to wake up to! Looks like hot chocolate and a nice smoke is in order. It’s been rain here literal inches upon inches of it. It finally quit yesterday and today the fog is so thick you could cut it with a knife. We had eighty degree temps this past week. Crazy stuff!

Other than the amount of water you got I used to like days like that. I’d get up early and watch the fog raise a bit off the lake before burning off with the sunrise. I miss Muskoka.

Well between getting the tractor out to escape the driveway I have completed my outdoor and indoor activities.
Pressed 1 1/2 ounces of Grape diamond and 1 1/2 ounces of Crescendo rbx.
I stuffed 21 grams into 14 gram bags!

Here's the last bag and what is left in those two jars after.

Guess that's one good thing about the snow, makes for an easy alibi... but he's catching on lol.
The age old question, do we continue to be sneaky in perpetuity... or be honest eventually? He already knows I make edibles, aka grown up treats... might tell him this year that my plants are the medicine for the treats. I know some of y'all have kids, how do you handle it?
I just don't want him to think smoking is cool, I don't even like him to see people be looks up to smoking ciggys... like my bff always uses the smoking a ciggy excuse to burn and I feel like that's not any better, but actually worse lol... we don't smoke ciggys, just lefties.

Hmm...touchy subject. My wife’s side hides things. My side not so much.

We had the same worries/issues I’m sure.

We talk, we’ll call it talk, about issues like this and in the end I come clean when they are old enough to ask about it or it comes up. My wife only started vaping in front of or son this year. He’s in his 20’s.

You can get ahead of it or ignore it but they will know and find out if they haven’t already, obviously. Much easier now that it’s legal but now I know he’s tried it. New territory. Like drinking.

My sister is 66 and she didn’t want me to let her 30+ year old sons know that she tokes. As if they haven’t figured it out already years ago.

That seems to be the kind of “help” we get around here. No one wants to work, demand top pay for half assed jobs. It’s time to replace my roof and I’m scared!

Same here. We found out the last company didn’t do what we paid them for. Not much we can do about it 10 years later but now the cost will be double.

Oh we did. 3 people quoted too. Big company now gone after they got a huge project from the city. I heard that didn’t end we’ll either.

Broke my fingers putting a standing seam roof on a cabin in Willsboro. I was crimping the seams together and smashed my hand between the crimper handles and man, blood everywhere. Blew 2 finger nails off, shit was brutal, but fun lmao

I’m guessing that’s the nice copper roof you see on our government buildings or the metal ones we use up North? We call them 100 year roofs. (Now I have to look up standing seam.)

Standing seam has no exposed fasteners.
I don't due the screw down ones.
I have worked on many state and few federal buildings. Lots of churches also.

My last drying wasn’t the greatest. The perfect spot I normally use apparently sucks after fall.

Now that the second tent is ready I noticed that the first tent seems to maintain 20*c & RH 57% without much effort. So I’m thinking of using it.

As it’s a FrankienSCROG the question I was looking into is do I need to hang it upside or not? If I can just cut it and support it in the net that would be nice.

So far everything seems to say yes but only a few say why exactly. The ones that do mostly say it’s to allow moisture and stuff to keep feeding the buds and/or help keep buds moist longer for better dry/cure. (Horrible paraphrasing.)

I’m pretty sure it’s a bad idea and upside down is right or I would have found something about it.

I was planning to just cut and flip my net top and put it back on to dry but then wondered why?

Anyway, just thinking out loud while stuck in the house.

(Most times I dry things for looks, like flowers, so upside down helps with presentation. Which doesn’t matter in this case.)

Worked for a craft beer distributor for 4 years, ive never seen such wild beer. Some of this stuff was 19-22% a pint!! Shit wouldve knocked me on my ass after 1. Ill try to dig up some photos.

Reminds me of the time a friend and I went day drinking and I kept ordering stouts and porters at this brewery because I only like dark beer or liquor (on the rare occasion I drink) Probably had like 6 or 7, and they were all like 12-18 %... plus a few shots at the next place while we waited for my husband to come pick us up... I was hungover for 3 days and didn't drink again for like a year... my husband had to help me get out of my jeans to get in bed cause I was stuck... ohhh the shame That's when I realized that drinking in your 20s and drinking in your 30s are NOT the same.

Couldnt find the high ABV pints but these 3 always cracked me up whenever i saw them.

Same. I'm turning 38 in a couple days, my body just revolts any time I try to l drink. I had 2 margaritas last Saturday, not even strong, I measured a proper shot instead of just counting glug glug glug like I'm accustomed to doing lol... I woke up feeling like stomped dog shit. I used to be able to drink the better portion of a bottle in margaritas and be fine the next day. I'll stick to my weed maaan.
