These Poochie Love, photo-period from dispensary, were germinated in peat plugs 3 Mar and transplanted to 5 gal pots on 12 Mar, a couple days late but okay. The bottom 1/3 of pots are FFOF mixed with concentrated worm casings and all that stuff. The top 2/3 of each pot is FFOF mixed with just a bit of the concentrate. Basically it's a hot soil method and shouldn't need amendments but for cal-mag. My plants don't look right, sort of swollen or lush. That is the word "lush" is what they look right. Lights are about 19' off the plants.
I think they were over watered and have backed a bit and it is all I can think of. Water at 6.5 ph temp low 70s and 45% humidity, lights 24/7.

Your plant is planted too deep in the soil. If you don't give your plants night time they can't grow normally. All annuals need nighttime to metabolize correctly. Make sure you use plain rainwater or RO water for the best results.

Trixie may be better educated than I am, so only take this for what it's worth..
Your plants look like they're doing OK, but stressed a little bit. Have to ask..what is
the "all that stuff" you added to the worm castings?
The picture is deceiving, those bags are a little taller to allow ties to pass through several eyelets arranged around the perimeter. The plants don't have much stalk before foliage starts. I am leaving the lights as they are as the plants are not stunted in anyway, they appear a bit swollen compared to the a previous grow. The amendment is a commercial product with the concentrated premium soil with all the usual stuff like fish emollient oyster and crab shell, bone, lime, and all the rest of the organic needs for the plants life. I use tap water that has been aerated and set for 24hrs to remove chlorine. There are enough organic nutrients in the pots to feed the plants for their life, all though I will add some cal-mag.
I am very satisfied with the plant growth, they broke ground in 2 days so the plants are 25 days old. People do things where there is no right or wrong but personal preference. I prepared the bags for transplant by adding some water and compressing the potting soil, a bit. and planted the plugs at the level of the soil so there has been no "collapse" of surrounding soil or the plug that would require top dressing.
Poochie love is said to be a sativa dominant plant but the width of those leaves screams indica. I have no doubt about the seeds because they were in an eighth from a dispensary. I also have 6 Amnesia OG plants from seeds attained in the same manner.
I just received 5 White Fire OG autos for my 4x4 in the mail today. More work ahead.

Ok first off trixie has some unconventional methods that works for her but not necessarily everyone -

First the hot soul with fuck with the leaves a bit but plant should grow out of it - 2nd light you say 19” but what light ? How many true watts ?
- 3rd watering def looks like they have been watered t often ! Make sure the pots dry out good like pick them up and weigh almost nothing before you water again this could be a week with those small plants I. The big bags .
Last they don’t look that bad ur gonna be fine start grow diary?

This is not a new method for me and last years plants grew incredibly well. I mentioned too much water because that is the only variable . As I mentioned earlier I started with soil a little more moist than previously but I am talking 2 cups for 5 gal of soil. I have not watered them for 2 days, those photos were 3 days old, and am not going to until they show it is needed. I perhaps am making a bigger deal of than it is but I thought others' opinions can only help. All in all I am totally satisfied but always would like to do better.
I can buy all of the good weed I need but the growing is the pleasure for me. I don't have to do something every time I visit them and accuracy is a ball park figure, I don't go down to 2 decimal points because one is good enough.
Off the top I would say I have 2 Spider Farmer SF1000D, 1 VIVOSUN 2000, and 2 Flexstars that came with my Budgrower 4x4 kit. All of these lights currently reside in a 4x8 and should be more than enough. I am moving some plants outside after the threat of a killing frost is gone. I am going to partition the 4x8 and move the 2 Flexstars back to the 4x4 for the White Fire autos I received today. When I am done I will have 4 plants outside, 3 autos in the 4x4, and 6 in the 4x4. My last grow was too dense to get at them to trim in a balanced manner but the 4x8 has 4 doors and access is no problem

2 cups of water for 5 gals of soil, or am I reading that wrong?
Why 24 hrs, plants need a dark period....I know some do it, I just don't understand why, all it does is cause undue stress and cost more electricity.

I have the lights on 24/7 for the same reason the tent is lined with reflective material, to maximize the light received and chlorophyll produced. My intent is to stress the plants to maximize growth when it is most important.

Stress will cause the plant to stunt and slow growth - that’s a bad plan - good luck

Sorry for the delay, crisis in the house. I had the lights on 24/7 through germination and a bit of veg. Lights have been on 20/4 for a bit. I am going to have to top them soon, but my partner, who does that part, injured his shoulder. I am a vet with a tremor and won't trust myself with the clippers. I'll put up some new pics in a day or two.
I believe by providing more than enough light will prompt the plant to produce more terps for smell, and ease of smoking. These plants are photo-period dispensary seeds and being on the square I changed the lights on your advice. If I find the plants are not doing well or I fuck em up, I'll chop em and start over, no big deal. I have plenty time on my hands and a few years to go.
I had the lights on 24/7 all the time with my autos and they grew into nice bushes.
