this ass has no clue about growing or anything.. how you would not notice this a lot earlier with damaged leaves??
pheno hunting?? surprised he knows the terminology?..
he probably thought they were fading? haha..
looks good on grows like this, dicks with money but are stupid asses..
another trixie or idontkniwhatimdoing..
and quit coddling these types!
they deserve it!..
People like you get off on insulting others. The consequence is remaining stagnant where you are. Everytime I post my worst flower on this forum a jealous Jenny like you comes along go comment off topic. I can always throw the 10 infected plants out. I still have 240 others. But your attitude will continue to hinder you in life as it has already

Enjoy your grow tent and shout out to all the people who try to help

Trimming off fans at that point won’t affect the bud finishing that much. May lose a bit of swell. Those mites are def not gone tho. You can knock down their numbers by removing leaves, but they are everywhere. Once you harvest, I would try repeated/prolonged dichlorvos fog or something along those lines. Nuclear winter style. Those fuckers are a bitch even in a small grow space. They are a real mf in a room that size. Bud swell would be the least of my concerns. But yes, I have jacked up grows and ended up removing fans in late flower to deal with bugs (broad mites) and finished ok. Frankly tho, the damage was nowhere close to what you have going on.

Yeah I'm just about wrapping up. Actually instead of trimming I took a hand vacuum to them now lol. Worked like a charm and at least now I know they're gone from the plant. Had to be super careful to avoid touching the buds. Gonna be on top of that for the rest of the flower. Here's to next weekend.

Are these spider mites gonna be a problem during drying too? I've never had a spider mites problem before. I'm thinking of going back to Pink Kush as that plant was highly pest resistant. But yeah where can I find this fog you speak of if needed during drying? Or do they disappear during the dry?

If you only have 10 then toss them. But from what I understand spider mites will be throughout your grow room and the other plants.
Deep clean after this grow is in order.
Then 2 more cleans and hope for the best
Yeah i guess i will. Are they a problem during drying too? I've never had them before

Also from now on I'll be releasing beneficial bugs and ladybugs at week 1 of flower.

I'm pretty new to this but from what I've read they will die during drying because they suck the sap from living plants.
Definately wash the buds at least once to get rid of some bug bodies and bug shit.

this probably has nothing to do with the strain pest resistance it's just your grow room have been contaminated at some point, spidermites, thrips etc can come from anyone clothes that enter the grow room

at the time of drying some will attempt to migrate elsewhere and some will die inside the flowers as there's nothing left to eat and as i understand it, that's why you eventually want to do a bud washing to clean the buds.

Well I have 3 infect plants right next to two Pink Kushes and the PK is literally untouched. They do not like it at all. And generally speaking pink kush has never given me problems. After week 2 of flower pink kush has naturally removed any thrip or mite from the premises.

I've been there with mites, webs all over the tops. I washed it in a 3 part wash, you should have seen the debris it was gross and I smoked the shit,.............

That snap crackle pop of the shit and their corpses gets annoying and made me shiver knowing what I was inhaling.....I had to change locations and bleach the fk out of everything.....

If it took you this long to find them....

I thinks yous gots some issues with bugs on a lot more than 3.....GL I hope you're not wanting to unload that stuff on someone.......and I'm glad I aint smokin the shit......

I'm just going to say that approaching your pest problem by introducing genetics that are more pest resistant is only band aiding the problem.

As has been mentioned, you need to nuke the room and disinfect it as much as possible. It sounds like you're doing this for profit so it may not be feasible to move locations but my advice to you is to clear out the plant material you now have and salvage to your desire but get that room cleaned up or you're setting yourself up for more misery.

Those little fuckers just don't go away. They have to be evicted with prejudice.

I've worked at a few licensed grow ops and all of them have, what would seem like, crazy cleanliness protocols but when you've got 500 plants exposed in a room it doesn't seem so crazy in relation to what you'll lose when mites take down your crop.

I had a problem on a grow in a new room with mites. I took the plants outside and hosed them down. Then I brought them back in and bombed the room with dr.doom fogger a couple of times and it pretty much fixed the problem. I found a couple mites in the next grow and fogged it again and have been clean since. finger s crossed.

You bombed the room with plants in it?

There was some talk on here a while back on how bugs and in particular mites make the plants respond & fight the infestation by putting out more trichomes, and they were wanting to find a way to trigger that response without the mites.....it was only a discussion but it implied that mites have an effect on trich output.....????? I know knot somethings just stick

I would venture to say that if this is true just mimic what they do without them.....

i remember that conversation also, something to do with the chemicals those fuckers secrete or something along that line.
it supposedly makes the plant do the fight reflex or whatever.
someone was trying to find out what chemicals it was.
or it could be just bullshit and biting your leaves could do the same

We may have stumbled upon a new method to boost tric's daily chewing on your leaves....just gnaw a bit don't kill it a gentle click click click with the front teeth should do up and down the larger leaves and fingers of a few leaves each day up until harvest.....A winner for sure......Now how do I bottle what I just smoked?

The trim got rid of them already so I don't get how it's a loss. Whether they're mites or thrips, they're damaging the leaves and ruining my pictures. I'm just asking the forum if anyone has had to trim this early before harvest to see if the buds will suffer for it. Right now they look good.

One idiot commented never grow in that room again and he sounded serious. Another told me to wash my buds with H202. Surely you can see how silly these comments are? This is high in our parents basement type of science.

The mites are already gone I'm just wondering if anyone has trimmed a week before pull down? I'm guessing nobody has?
Are you fucking joking? You can’t tell the difference between a mite and a thrip, let an infestation go on for months, say you can trim mites (off 250 plants), and then declare everyone else is silly.

Golly JohnnyDipShit wonder why no one discovered mite trimming during the previous 12,000 years of cultivation? If you weren’t so fucking stupid you could have just spent 5 minutes on the internet. Or better yet dig deep and pony up the $2 and test H2O2 for yourself.
