Sweet pups so special to have we just lost our cat we had for 18 years. The poor girl at least went out on her own terms and did not suffer. My wife and daughter and I are going to get tattoos of her paw prints this week . On a much happier note we are now looking for a cat and a dog to bring into the family I have wanted a dog for 20 years but our last cat was not a dog person. If that makes sense so we are now looking for a dog good with cats and a cat who won't beat up the dog.

We were all set to go a few years back had ticket and all then flu hit and the trip was canceled. I was born down south so just have a love for the place the good the bad and the ugly. Oh you are so lucky I have been trying to get my wife and daughter down there for the past 3 years. I love it there used to do jazz fest every year when I worked in the music business. We were all set to go a few years back had ticket and all then COVID hit and the trip was canceled. I was born down south so just have a love for the place the good the bad and the ugly. Nola is my Hubby’s roots. This pic was from last year. We make a trip down once a year at least to get shrimp. The one thing about his old home that he misses the most.
Sadly, Nola is a very dangerous place to go right now. It’s been a mess ever since Katrina. The new Mayor has made sure the rest of the town went to hell too. Seems getting rid of the police force in a crime ridden town was not the thing to do!

Today myself and the ladies are off for a day of junkin! No telling what I may come home with. I’m looking for odd things for the yard and rustic things for one of my porches. Maybe a truck load, maybe nothing. Any adventure out with my girlfriends is a good one!
Beautiful day in the Ozarks! As long as the sun is shining I don’t care about the temperature, but the 75 they are calling for, I’ll take!

Funny little thing happened this morning..
My friend at work asked me to bring in some buds for him. So I give him the bag discreetly at work on my way to the office. I get to my office, go put hot water in my coffee cup. Open my lunch bag to get a tea bag I brought from home only to find a bag of weed instead!

I gave my friend a tea bag in a Ziploc instead of the herb!!! Trying to be discreet and not looking at it I gave him the wrong one, LMAO!

I had to go back to him to make the switch, and this is five ten minutes later, he said he didn't look at it but was wondering why he didn't smell it.. oh geez

Sounds like you’re in great spirits this AM.

I didn’t do squat yesterday but have already been outside working a bit today. Moved the crates a few feet. Cleaning up garbage from over the fence. Chasing Willow. She made a pollen cloud banging into the cedar bush.

Back isn’t even singing yet. I’ll take it.

G'mornin CG! WOW is all I can say. I am in love with that Acapulco Gold Landrace's flower structure holy smokes! Where did you get that one from again? Looks chunky! Have fun junkin today! Im about to head out for a lil ride to a stream and throw some flies in see what I catch! One of the good things about where I live in VA is we have tons of great trout fishing in the area and all accessible via chill little country roads with little traffic.

Absolutely gorgeous. You made them very happy throughout their lifecycle, as is evident by their glorious display of flowers.

Aside from the benefits of fresh wonderful bounties...I truly dig growing because it is so rewarding and satisfying to bring to fruition the final product. I dig every step of the process and love spending time with them.

Wondering if photo period or auto.

You may have addressed this earlier and I missed it...sorry for that.

I have only grown photo period.

My first auto will be soon...fingers crossed.

Got that goodie from a friend several years ago. He turned me on to that, Durban Poison and Panama Red. The only thing I have going right now from all of that is the Durban. It was sent off to the West Coast for a breeding project. Came back crossed with White Ice, which is now being called Durban Ice. The idea was to shorten it and make the Bud more compact. I have my first seed of it currently in veg. Will let ya know. If it turns out worthwhile, I’ll send ya some seed.
It’s crappie fishing time here! Hope to get out in the next week and fill my freezer

I agree. I too prefer photo, but am experimenting with some autos for the first time.

I kinda took responsibility for providing cannibas to our children. They are in there late 30s and can easily afford to purchase their own, but I would love to be able to keep them in free weed...from me.

The problem is that I only work out of one 4x4 and only grow one plant at a time. With an intentional focus on quality, high THC, and yield. Alas, I am still very new, but have been somewhat fortunate in that two grows met the aforementioned requirements, both being Watermelon Zkittles.

My plan is to expand to a couple tents in the near future.

I just pulled the trigger on a Photontek X 600W Pro.

Now I need to get a second tent setup. Possibly a 5x5. Or a 3x3...not sure just yet.

Autos may very well allow me to grow more weed, just a little quicker. With the faster turn around time, my hope is that I can stock them up and then return to photos.

Autos only reduce grow time by up to 6 weeks, and that's a big maybe, that is dependent on strain, so here's hoping my plan fleshes out.

Autos, would allow for a perpetual grow though. Whereby you could be harvesting something every month. This is possible because they are not dependent on any light cycle. Therefore, I could use a 5x5 and have four plants in late flower, whilst having another four in early veg.. all in the same tent.

Having said that, I really do prefer photos.

A long time ago, around 1974 if I recall correctly.

I had a friend who purchased an ounce of Acapulco Gold (AG).

The product was all buds, which aside from Thai Stick was NOT normal.

We would typically get Columbian or Mexican weed that had some buds, but not many. And alot if seeds.

Anyway, the AG was sublime and I have not since then, seen or heard of since.

Really wish I could have some of that 1974 strain of AG right now.

As a side note...hash back then was also sublime.

Just another old fart, bragging about the good old days. Lol
