I pulled the Sour D out and gave it some Chiropractics then bent it over 90* to grow sideways. I may attach the top to the base & keep her down...if She's not a he, I have a funny feeling with how its growing that she is a he. I don't have a replacement plant so I'll just have to go with 3.

When I pulled the Sour D out I had a look on the bottom to see if I could see any roots. Yes, there was one small coming through a vent.........Wait a minute here, I have a copper mat / shield I shouldn't have roots on the bottom side. Does this mean I need another mat or a sock to cover the pot's base?.......

On the bright side I've roots growing out the bottom I can start the Auto Pots. on the dark side I have roots growing out the bottom and I need to stop them......Always something....

My 5x5 is doing well I had 3 of the 4ft red leds running but I shut off 2, its just been too bright by my eyes at lights out to have an effect so I'm using just 1 from tonight on. We're at 3 weeks today since going 12/12.....8 more weeks before I'm done.

My watering system is a success, I put it through its trial run yesterday and it went perfectly. There is still about a pint of liquid left that won't drain but I used a large turkey baster and sucked it out. I'm going out today for soaker hose I'd like to move the water around the the plant for better coverage, ( don't bug me about the leaves, they're gone)

I fired up my Auto pots today, Its been 4 days since I last top fed so todays the day. I contacted GH about their nutes in an auto pot system and they said I was good to go but not to use the Flurolicious Plus because of the stagnant water in the trays and the possibility of leaving a build up.I've asked them today if there is another product of theirs I can use as a cleaner alternative. I'm not sure about the Diamond Nectar, I'll wait for a reply.

They also strongly recommended an air stone in the reservoir along with a intermittent circulating pump
I've added 6 gal of nutes at about 1/2 strength to the reservoir an air stone and small pump. then turned open the valve and let the show begin. Everything filled then shut off as it supposed to. 2 success in a row, I'm on a roll.

My girls are looking good, they're relying on food from below now so I should know in a few days if they're feeding or not. They are all liking the light I have it set at 50% and they seem happy. The Sour D I bent over and twisted has turned up nicely and they are starting to fill the tent. I'm still not flipping until I take cuts off them all. I'm hoping within another 2 weeks should do it.

The Quebec Blue and DoSiDo have nice large leaves and looking very nice, I'm anxious to get them flowering.

The girls in my 5x5 tent were fed extra bloom nutes at 3 weeks in flower yesterday for the first time I'll start to give them Kool Bloom over the next 3-4 weeks

My Revegged auto at close to 4 month........is going to fill a tent when I flip her.....I keep spreading her out and she keeps pushing out new branches out of the centre. I'll just keep letting her grow until I've someplace to flip her alone.

I keep bending her over every day, I've been spreading her out and cleaning up the inside but she just keeps pushing out new branches from the centre where the original small bud was. I won't be flipping her for at least 2 more months so.......who knows, I'll have to cut this pot off and transplant her into a 5 gal but she can't out grow my veg closet so I'll keep her in the 3 gal for now.

Nice Spring day on Easter weekend I hopes you all have time off and can enjoy it. My Auto Pots seem to be working great, I'm getting good growth and I can take my cuts any day now. I'll flip them to flower this week after I have some off spring to continue their line.

My 5x5 under 2 SE3000 & a SF600 are budding up nicely albeit a bit small for 4 weeks tomorrow. My Dusk & Dawn trial didn't do what I was hoping by this time so I'm going to shut it down......I also need the timer for my air dome lines with the auto pots....

My revegging Auto is out of controll with branches pics don't do her justice. I keep spreading her out and cleaning up leaves from the inside but she just keeps putting out branches that are clogging the centre up with their new leaves.

Thanks, I've been on Gh's web site reading some of the stuff they have on the flood drain / Ebb and flow stuff and they recommend cleaning the reservoir once every 7-14 days and running fresh water through it to clean plant residue off the clay pebbles in the bottom of the pots....You're not using clay balls this time are you? but did you run a cleaning cycle through the res and system?

I've never cleaned the res tank through out the grow and never run fresh water through it either.
I am using clay balls, prob more than the last time. I re-used the old ones from the last pots.
Nope did not run any cleaning cycle thru either.
I use this system to have less work and that stuff sounds like a lot of work to me, lol.
I have had no problems letting the system run itself, I am treat man, I just load up
the tank with their nutrient treats and that's it. I only make light, hummi and fan adjustments after that.

Okay that sounds good, what I read said clean every 7-14 days and importantly to do it when changing nute formulas, like going into flower. You're right it sounds like more work than necessary but being my first go with the pots I'm a bit nervous with the technique and whats important and whats not.....

I'm firing up the air domes today......I don't think I can take faster growth though with out running out of space real quick.....Do you notice any difference with the air domes and without?

I'm already seeing a jump in size since turning the pots on, I get used to the daily changes in size so its hard to see the difference but with the pics taken over a few days I can see everything jump in just a few days......Now air domes?....lol

Mine are stacking up buds fast now and even
the clones put in there 1-2 wks late are getting some flowers on em.

Here is the best thing I have just learned to do.
I now stick my hand and arm in the res tank and feel around the sides and the bottom and
especially the pump, which I have stuck on the bottom side wall, to see if there is any residue at all.
So far it's squeaky clean, no film or anything.
That's a proof test that all is well in the ol' tank.
Plus putting 2-3 tsp of H202 per gal. in the nutrient mix is a good thing.

Forgot to reply to the air dome question

I have always used the air domes but I used to turn them on/off manually
and only had them on for 5-10 mins while I was tending to the plants that's not much time.
That was when I had 2 pots going and they did very well (Gold Leaf/7oz and Blue Dream/2oz)
Maybe GL was getting more fizz from the airators then BD, idk, but GL was a monster of a plant and BD was half the size.
The last aborted grow was doing good too. I think it would have been even better and maybe my best grow yet.
Too bad I went nuts and tore em all out.😅

Now I have them running on high for 6 hrs.
I'm not sure if I can tell any dif with them on or off but I'm thinking of upping the day time running to 8 hrs.
Everything I've read says it's beneficial to the roots.

I'm going to try running the air pump during lights on at about 50% speed for a few days and watch see how it goes...I need the pot socks I can see roots out of the bottom past the copper plate, They should be here Tues - Wen

update

Wow, did you put them in the pot with the copper side up?
I've not had any root problem using just the copper plates.
This time they sent the socks with the kit and I used them along with the plates, so both.

Yes that would be a good idea see how it goes.
I don't know the dif in pumps so don't know how high yours goes
and how fast/powerful it's feeding the air to your air domes.
I have the Hydrofarm Active Aqua 6W 240 GPH Hydroponic Aquarium 4 Outlet Air Pump.
I did check it out before putting in the clay balls to make sure it pushed the bubbles out proper.
That's why I set at high cause it looked good at that setting.
I also found one of the blue things was not working very good so I poked holes
in it with a needle.

I turned the air domes on yesterday during lights on only and added another 2 gal feed to the reservoir along with some 10 ml peroxide. I also added 1/2tsp epsom salts but I notice some burnt tips on 2 plants this am so I might back off on it....

After building my water supply to feed my the plants in the back of my 5x5 and spending close to $100 for parts I see this on Princess auto flyer. I think this would have worked for me as well....

Good day, a nice clear 15C day for us today on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. I flipped the girls in the Auto Pots last night to 12/12. They're growing fast and I took all of my cuts of yesterday then put them under a dome in soil. I also added another 2 gallons of food to the reservoir at 3/3/3/ & 4 drips of ph down / gallon. I guess I should check ppm.....

My 5x5 is 1 month into flower and I'm seeing some fading on th e leaves of a few plants. the Gelato's again are fading the fastest and it's too early to see it on them, I've had my issues growing them and I tossed the last batch in frustration. I shut off my red light experiment, I was hoping for an increase in bud size my this time in flower but I'm not seeing any increase so it was a fail. I fed them their first dose of Kool Bloom along with their 2nd flower nute feed @ 5/4/10/1/4tsp Kool Bloom / 1 ml Flurolicious../Gallon.

My revegged auto is going strong I gave her a full feed yesterday of 4/4/4/1

My plants are doing well in the new pots but the Do Si Do is light in weight & the soil is dry to the touch. I pulled the pots out 1 by one and put socks on all the pots and when I did that I notice how light the Do Si Do is. She seems to be getting water but I remember with this being the last pot I put in the tent I think I added too many clay balls to the bottom of the pot.. The other 3 plants feel damp and are obviously wicking the water properly. I'll spray some ph'd water on the top but I don't want to wash any dirt & silt down into valve.

I did a little bending of the Sour D & Do Si Do to lay flat and give me more space I hope I bent them low enough. The QCBlue is quite a bit shorter but with beautiful big green leaves and she has a real healthy thick stalk and off shoots but the Quebec Blast has the nicest form to her with the most tops.

My 5x5 with 8 is just over 1 month in flower and starting to smell the house up. I don't have any exterior ventilation with carbon filters and I vent to an oil tank room without heat in it so my grow heats that small room but that room is only vented with an inhouse ventilation system that recirculates fresh air with 15% exhaust through a hepa filter and back into the house bring back 15% of the smell with it.........I can get a little ripe at times but I like it so eh.

My revegged Jamaica / GSC auto is looking good. I should take a few cuts off her this week but I'm going to be out of control soon with 13 cuts already 4 stunted from staying in solo cups too long are now in 3/4 gal pots.

Dang pipe, your setup is nice! Ill get there one day. Gonna follow this. Do you get the same yields with leds that you were getting with hps, if not whats the difference?
I actually got a bigger yield in my test grow with harder buds with 300w led than with my 1000w hps......But .....I have to add heat with led's and I've not grown the big buds I have with hps. I'm still learning led's......Shit I had 20+ years learning hps and only 2 with led's so I'll get there it may just take a while. I didn't use a tent with hps with a open room and 5ft tall panda plastic panels I made up, I'd form in a square around my light

Everything is jumping the Sour D is out of its allotted area and has spread out. My QCblue has big fat wide leaves below the canopy I'll be plucking off soon, its a shame these plants would do great out doors in a suitable environment. I've 3 clones off her so I can fill a tent with them after I clone off the clones.

I've been adding 2 gallons at a time to the reservoir of food and I'm seeing some growth or fuzz on the bottom of the tank. I'm going to give it a flushing and cleaning tomorrow. I'm not sure if its from the little bit of light that gets through the hole at the top or down the clear air lines but It fix both to eliminate it from possibilities.

I have some Hyclean but I was worried about a possible reaction with GH nutes but seeing as I'm getting some kind of reaction I may as well try it and see if it helps or makes things worse.

I added another 75watts to heat the tent, I bought 2 - 150 w reptile lamps, I replaced a 75w and its increase my tent 4* I'm now at 78.6f......but it increased my humidity to 75% lol so I turned up my exhaust to get 77* at 60%......I'll work on it but I can see these pots and heat adding to a humidity issue and I may have to fire up a dehue soon.

My 5x5 is at 5 weeks in flower now and they're starting to plump up. I was a bit worried my Dusk & Dawn experiment might have done something negative but they seem fine now with 6 more weeks to go.

My revegging auto is chugging along fine, I'm anxious to flip her but I'll stick her in a 5 gal pot before I do.

I have something interesting going on with my clones from the girls in the 5x5. 2 of them I transplanted into a 50/50 mix promix & perlite....

3 days later I transplanted 2 more into a mix of VPW30 + 20% more perlite,
1 tbs of Gypsom/gal & 1 tbs Azomite /gal. within 2 days I could see the stalk on the newly transplanted swell and the plants perked up after being root bound in the small solo cups.

Todays a nice cool clear Spring day, there's a light showing at the end of the tunnel.

My girls in my 3x3 under the G3000 are doing very nice I just turned it to 60% from 55%....slow adjustments, I'll check before lights out & early tomorrow to see if there's any downward turn on the leaves from the light.

The Quebec Blue although shorter than the rest has some beautiful leaves on her. I pulled this lower fan leaf because it was rubbing against the door and not getting any light. it looks like they're all fem, I was worried about the Sour D but she's got no balls 10 days in flower. The Do si Do and Quebec Blast have stretched out nicely and if that's it for them I'm happy, I think I can keep the light on the hangers.

I screwed up 2 days ago watering when I should have fed my girls in the 5x5. A bit more yellowing in the leaves because of it. I need to read my grow diary and not rely on memory.....

My revegged auto is still doing great, I keep pulling off the larger inner leaves and bending her over daily but she just keeps standing up....another month+ before I can flip her.

I'm going to be out of room in veg again real soon. with my reveg 4 clones from the girls in the 5x5 and my cuts off the girls in my 3x3 all living my space will be overgrown again shortly. They look all cute and happy when they're young but when they start to take over things can get ugly fast if they don't get the light and space they need
