I have a 4x4 tent. I am using scrog netting for the first time (2 layers). I have an issue going on with the one plant I cannot access with the scrog up. It is too late to take the scrog netting down because the plants are already grown through it. I am going back to bamboo sticks for support. If I would have done it this way I could pull the plants in front out of the tent and fixed whatever is wrong with the plant in the back. I am frustrated with myself. All I can do is just watch what is going on with this plant. I pulled leaves from the bottom of it and there are no spider mites. I will post pictures later.

Scrogs only work well if you can get to the plants. I have a 4 x 8 setup so it can be use that way, but for me to do that, I had to place the tent where I can access it from at least 3 sides. A scrog usually doesn't work well if a tent is placed into a corner where it becomes difficult to access plants in the back under the net.

Yep, that is the problem. I can only access two sides.

What exactly is the problem with the one plant you can't access?

If you've ever worked on a car you should be able to attend the underside of your canopy barring any physical issues.

I have a 5 x 5 set in the corner of my office so I have access from 2 sides. The rear corner is not as accessible as I like but anything undercanopy I just get on my back and slide around trimming whatever I need too.

If I need to physically access that corner, which I did a couple of times since I didn't think it through and setup my power station in that corner, I just unhook the net at one of the corners and open a space for me to step into for better access to the area I need to get to. I also get under there with my loupe and check for disease or pests.

Exactly one of the reasons I love my Gorilla tent. With minimal space left around the tent (ablout 10 inches for me) you can literally unzip and access all 4 sides. I can usualy slide the entire tent away from the wall if I need to the open up all 4 sides. Only Gorilla for me from now on.
Most tents have access like that as does mine. I could slide mine also but I'm too lazy to do that every time I need access from that side.

I've seen people rig up watering wands to a small submersible pump to allow them to get to the plants in the back.

I used a washing machine hose attached to a yard stick because I ran into the same problem. I was bottom feeding, so it wasn’t a major issue since I just poured directly into a reservoir, but definitely making me rethink my next grow.

Pictures of the plant in question. The first is the bottom then the top.

I did that once leaving around a foot between the walls and the opening so that I had access. When I bent over to try and reach the middle, I bumped the wall behind me and fell into the canopy. Luckily, I didn't break any branches but I was in flower so I was sticky from head to waist when I climbed out!!! πŸ˜„

My fat a$$ would need a lot more than 10" space. lol

So, tomorrow morning I am going to mist the plants near the bottom to make sure there is no invisible web down there.

IMO, and we all have one, it just looks normal. You didn't do much defoliation/pruning on the lower half of the plant and the canopy is pretty dense. Your not getting much light penatraion. I'd prune it up a bit if possible. Get some good airflow down there. If you realy concerned about critters get a pump and shoot some diatomaceous earth into that area and that should take care of any any critters.
Personally I would be more concerned about the lady in thr front right foreground with the underculing and yellowing leaves

That is Blue Dream, and it is a strange looking plant. I just wanted to see what it looked like as it grew.

Blue Dream is one of my favorite weeds ever! When leaves on the bottom die too soon might also be that theyre taking nutes from them because they cant find them in the soil. Im guessing they all eat the same, that one might need a bit more. Just my thoughts, if someone disagrees youd be better off listening to them probably. It could just be normal for that plant, I noticed that my blueberry tends to get rid of the first leaves quicker than other autos I planted before. I also has a shorter lifespan.

If you have them truly scrogged, or is it just a flexible net, then there should be nothing below your nets to fuss about.
I just crawl under my table. Not my fav thing but I get it done! πŸ™‚

But ya bend over for that lower zipper ! I personally hate my gurilla cuz it’s to hard to open and close πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
