Crazy good job man! I might have to give that grandpas stash a run one of these days. Im growing Wedding Cake & GMO right now and worried about the stretch after seeing yours. I'm in week 2 flower in a 2x2x4 tent...way too small lol. This is my first grow, Im hyped to see how it goes.

Hell yeah dude, good luck with your first grow!
I think the GMO kept stretching until about day 30 of flower, I quit tucking tops under the net around day 10 but shoulda kept at it til around day 20

Though I'm crazy happy with how she turned out anyways

The smoke on your strains is gonna be crazy! Hope to get on your level one of these days. I’m still figuring out the whole trellis thing lol. These are my plants now on flower day 9. Top left wedding cake and the other is gmo. They need more space lol. Any tips would be appreciated!

They look good man!

What did you say the height was again, 4'?

Id probably keep bending that wedding cake down under the net for a few more days to fill out the space and control the stretch.

Same goes for the GMO when she gets up tbere, she surprised me with how long she stretched into flower.

Though your fighting space issues with width and height so I'd keep tucking and hope for the best haha, you got this 🤙🏻

The tent height is 4' but with the light I don't really have 4. Wedding cake is at 17" and GMO at 14". Im really thinking about getting a bigger tent so I don't have to worry about space. AC Infinity is looking really nice!

Yeah hang height is a real pain lol.
There's ways you can get around it but up sizing tents would be the best option if it's possible.

What size ya looking to go? I've got a couple 2x4x5 and that size is pretty alright, can run about 3 medium sized plants just gotta watch the height.
I always end up with plants 4" from lights still haha.

My 4x4 is 7.5' tall and I absolutely love that height, if you can go tall I recommend it.

I'm always running out of room at the top. Part of the problem is I tend to flip late. Just yesterday I was daydreaming about changing my grow space to add more height. I have a 2x4x6 tent in a bedroom closet and was thinking about removing the tent and just using the closet. That would add more than 2 feet of headroom for the plants. There are two plants flowering in there now, so I'll have plenty of time to think about it. There is another closet in that room that we're not really using, though...

Hahaha sounds to me like you may ought to just fill that empty closet with some more plants & equipment 😉

I've had some that I flipped late, and others like the GMO that I flipped reasonably that just grew into monsters.

I ended up ordering a 2x4x6 tent this morning to solve my problem haha. That’s about as big as I can go right now. I’m hyped for it and I’m sure my plants will love the extra space.
Hell yeah dude that's dope I'm happy for you. Your plants, and you will definitely enjoy the space

A lot can be done with 2x4 tent. I usually grow two plants, but I like to grow them big before flowering.

What light are you putting in it? I have a ViparSpectra XS2000 which is rated at 240 Watts. It's 30 Watts per square foot and a good size for a 2x4 tent.

wish i had those problems i cant seem to get plant to go over 2.5 maybe 3 feet and i got a 7 ft tent it's so sad
I am wondering if plant height (and width, too, probably) is significantly determined by light intensity and pot size (in an inverse relationship). So, my hypothesis would be that plants grown under high light intensity and small pots would tend to be smaller than plants grown with less light and bigger pots. That would be with other things being equal, like genetics, for example. That's my theory, anyway.

I should've got that size from the start but went with one of those cheap options off amazon haha. I ordered the AC Infinity advanced grow tent. It comes with one of their lights (ionboard s24, full spectrum led grow light 200w, samsung lm301b, 2x4 ft. coverage) so I'm sure it will be better than what Im currently working with. Do you think the change of lights will affect the plants in a negative way at all?

Probably not. I moved some plants recently and used the Photone phone app to check the light level in the first tent and set the light level in the second tent as close as I could to the same level. The plants didn't seem to notice the change. If you're worried, you could start the new light slightly lower and gradually increase it.

It would probably be a good idea to try to match the humidity, too. It took me about a day to tweak that.
