Did rooting hormone cause this?

I have limited experience with cloning although I've had great success so far. I'm curious what this growth on the stems of a couple clones is? is that the clone's attempt to throw roots from the exposed stem?

Are you talking about what's going on with the stems or the leaves? You'll get some good answers soon, I'm not very experienced with rooting, I've done it once directly in to soil.

Say do you have those cuttings under a dome? High humidity is the only thing I think would cause that, it’s like water beaded on the stems and it wanted to root.

probably yes, it was a full bottle of powder and I probably got some on the stem

sure did and being innexperienced I wasn't sure how long to keep them in the cloning box, I didn't even vent it for almost a week so high humidity was present
