my Zkittlez going on 94days. im transplanting her to a 10gal Fabric pot from a 5. I’m still trying to figure my shit out but I believe she’s rootbound . Never looks happy and watering every other day is what I’m going by. I didn’t mean to go this long wont bore anyone with the details. I’m ready to flip to 12s and figured 1-2 weeks after transplanting would be fine based on how she looks. Anyone have any tips or advice on my scenario. I also could bring her outside to finish but worried that would really throw her off. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I’m growing in foxfarm happy frog soil and would be using the same.

Something is off, the yellow leaves make me think over watering, but the patches on the lower leaves make me think nutrients deficiency or maybe toxicity idk this is outside my range of knowledge but I agree with the above post you need to get it healthy before you flip.

I’m feeling like she needs some potassium

Yeah I’m way too new to figure this one out and afraid I may have to cut my losses and focus on my outdoor grow. I had no intention of vegging this long. I was watering often I water by weight To help keepr me from overwaterin. It was a long time before I fed her nutrients and just realized I was giving too much light I 750-800 ppfd. I have her on the foxfarm schedule now and down to 500-550. I figured transplanting may help . Thanks for your replies. Actually maybe I’ll just flip her now and roll with it

would a mag/cal cause my issues ?

Your plants look bad dude. No offense. But I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you how to fix em. Someone here will be able to help I hope. 😂

Well it’s really hard to overdose a plant with cal mag, but with your lady bro, there is actually a few things going on I fear, the light coloration of the foliage, the patchiness of the brown/rust spots, I have an idea of what might be going on, what is the amount of nutrients you are giving? How many times a week? The lightness in the leaves could be mag deficiency or lack of nitrogen. The way the brown and rusts spots are manifesting, leads me to potassium, which also displays yellowing. I’m almost going to suggest a hearty water flush once she dries out completely. Then get into that root ball and see if it needs repotting. Pull her out of there and check to see if it’s bound as well. Like I was saying, you got some balancing to do.

Im starting to piece together what happened possibly. Not thinking I had my light at 100% 480watts at 18” and then not feeling anything for 55 days but water may of added to my dilemma. Haha I was waiting for signs of it needing and being in ocean forest soil. Also my watering skills need some improvement. I water by weight of pot when plants start to droop. I water until I get some run off maybe 2-3 cups. I’ll post Zkittles at 55 days first feeding just before I notice issues developing I followed foxfarm soil feed schedule week 8. Water water feeding. Getting the picture. I was thinking I might move her outside and work on her . Any suggestions on all that.

You can almost set your watch to it, fox farms soils usually need supplemental feeding 3-4 weeks in. So instead of waiting for your plant to show stress, start at the 3 week mark using 1/2 of what the tag on the bottle says. So by the time week 4 rolls around you should have a pretty good idea if your plant needs more or less nutrition. Unless you are using super soil, 55 days is a bit of a stretch with no supplements.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get proceed from this point.I add Neptune fish fertilizer to my last feed. i was thinking at this point of moving her outside and trying to nourish back. Was going to flush her then start feeding again. Does this make sense?

Sometimes one problem leads to another problem, or more than one. We tend to try to look for the "one thing" when sometimes we need to step back and look at the big picture.

It does seem like they're root bound, you mentioned their age......this could be the problem that leads to other problems. Then there's whatever you've done to correct things, which may or may not have helped, may have added to the problems or created new ones.

What is with this Fox farm stuff?? They must run some racket there......

Whatever the problems are here I hope you can correct it. I would be patient, do a lot of pruning, especially of older growth, thin things out, give new growth a chance, transplant........and to answer your initial question, I wouldn't flower soon after transplanting. I would give the plants time to spread their roots into the new, bigger pots, get re-established, let new, healthy leaves develop, then flower. That could take a couple of weeks or more.
