Actually they thrive in low humidity, i've been having issues with mites and can confirm they hate water/humidity.

This is from Oregon State Uni:

Conditions that allow spider mites to thrive

Spider mites thrive in hot, dry weather. Ideal conditions for spider mites are temperatures in the 80s (F) and above, and low humidity (less than 50%). However, populations can build up any time humidity is lower than 90%.
I thought they reproduced faster in high humidity but maybe ive got it backwards

I think they basically just move in when the plants under stress. little bastards. not so bad if your in veg you can engage in special military operations and send em to the shadow realm

Is that blistering on the top of some of the leaves? Def look underside with a microscope to see if there’s damage that’s associated with the blisters. Wash it before you dry and cure. Smoking insects is kinna nasty. But so is fast food. 🍻

I just leave my outdoor alone, water and maybe a tea. If they are outside and not infested just leave them be. Foliar spray is making it worse, indoor you need to watch like a hawk, but I just let my outdoor grow, my auto has heat/light stress too its just outdoors being brutal, it will definitely increase your terps though
Damn your plant/plants look great man, mine has came to a hault on growing any larger im not sure whats going on

I think it’s a combination of things, there is definitely some critters, I’m guessing thrips. If you moved it from filtered light before it had a chance to harden (just a guess) that could explain the taco leaves, I really understand that people use foliar spray, but really the risks outweigh the benefits using them in my opinion. Once the sun hits a plant after that it manifests burns a bunch of different ways depending on how the water was sitting on the leaves. High wind also causes curling leaves too, which means it’s drying out faster than it can absorb water. So yeah, it’s a few things possibly. Definitely critters though.

Probably the best well rounded answer so far, I’d go with this!

I can’t stop imagining some dude throwing a bunch of captured insects in a smoker to watch them curl up and die l. It’s funny in my head. He got that dr evil look too 🤣

Don’t be hating, smoking bugs is actually really good for you. I think. DO IT.

Bugs, probably not. I have two plants in the same bucket and one is doing exactly what your is, but not the other. Check it. They have been doing it recently.

As for my last assumption that it could be intensity, I doubt it because I’ve recently dropped light intensity and she started this after the drop.

Had this happen to me also. Just put your lights up higher. Its too much heat on the girls. I had 3 bigger ones do this but my smaller ones were ok.

That could make sense. For mine as example, it could be from heat, just the pheno doesn’t like the heat but the other girl is totally fine with it.

She did jump growth after I dropped intensity and took room temps from 80-88 down to 76-83.

She didn’t stop curling though that’s the thing right?
