Enjoying a really nice evening at a beach in Warwick. Rhode Island. Water is very nice. Not too cold or not too warm. Not the same kind of beaches I'm used to down south but still a nice beach nonetheless.

They are camel spiders, also known as sun spiders or wind scorpions

They've all over Colorado, desert and high plains areas, and the middle east I saw them both in Afghanistan and Iraq.

They like to come in your house and crawl across your chest in the middle of the night. They also travel in pairs so if you see one, likely you'll see another.
Nope. No, never, big old not at all. I will avoid entire areas.........states, countries even, to make absolutely certain not to come in contact with these things, let alone "crawling on my chest". Absolutely, positively unh-unh. If these things expand into where I live, I will pack my bags, get up, and get out, abandoning everything and everyone in order to assure the neverness of me coming in contact with that......

Cali dream
Day 36
Ok so there's a good example too........good morning by the way......

Looks to me like most of the hairs have turned. I'm not saying it's near ready, or that it's stopped flower production, but Day 36 seems very early for signs of maturity.......I assume there will be more, new flower productionl, but how much? I know the variety matters. I'm just surprised at how developed some of my plants are, like your picture here. I don't remember things playing out so quickly........I remember no hairs turning for at least 45 days, and no real signs of maturity until around 55 days. It's just hard for me to envision more serious production happening from days 40 to 55, 60 if it's already trying to mature at day 35.

It happens a lot depending on strain, I will say, it’s a cali dream, and its the only one like that, I have a few with a red hair here and there, but none like the one in the pic. It’ll still pack weight. It makes me wonder if the was a fast flowering strain crossed in at some point. I agree the amount of red hairs is odd though.

I just went in and checked real fast, the trichromes are clear as day, so yeah, it seems like it’s ok there.

Feel the need to get your confederate flag in I see.......

It should also be noted, for those that hit the "like", even the "love" button.......it can be undone.
What are you getting at? Do you have a problem with the confederate flag? I'm hoping I'm reading your reply wrong.

Ah, that I forgot about........rhe possibility that some of these seeds/varieties have become infected with ruderalis.....that would drfinitely suck. And it could be deliberate. Seeds companies know that "early maturing" is something people want......give them what they want. "Make me a plant that finishes in under 55 days of flowering".

We'll see how these turn out. I would expect that no or hardly any trichs have turned, I mean, I don't even think hairs on any respectable photoperiod should turn in under 40-45 days.

There's also our part in it. 12/12 is ingrained in us when that's like telling a plant "forget about August and Srptember, let's jump right to October".

Oh 100% some of this stuff out there has been crossed to DEATH I wouldn’t be outside of the realm to come across a dormant gene of fast flowering to pop up every now and again. But since you pointed that out…I have to do a little reading on recessive cannabis traits skipping generations.

At some point......20% ruderalis.....12%......6%...they already have "fast versions" that are just less ruderalis than autos.

And I'll bet it's more the major seeds companies that sell 3,000 varieties. "Your seeds are great, I had bud in only x days!"

Have you seen some of these fast flowering strains? Ripe at 55 days? That should scare some folk. It’s like Monsanto for cannabis almost.
