Hello everybody I have four week old Blue dream Auto flowers... Yesterday I just gave them the Fox farm nutrients the plant food I did not give them the tiger grow.... They've been looking good I've LST three of them and I know as you can see by the pictures not a great job but it's my first time...

But I'm noticing the day after I gave them the very low amount of nutrients they started to really yellow at the bottom

The one that I did not LST and I just topped it it's starting to have discoloration in the leaves on the outside tips as you can see in the pictures

Everything has been going great up until the day before I gave the nutrients which was the day before yesterday... That's what it actually started to get yellow and bad so I decided to give it nutrients maybe I shouldn't have done that

I will say that my tent is getting really hot lately there's nothing I can do about it I've tried everything and I just ordered one of those little portable AC things you put the ice in I heard they don't work that great but I'm going to try anything

I tried to go to the iglm forum and ask for some help but all they wanted to do was reprimand me and make me feel like crap LOL so I came here instead hopefully everybody hears a little nicer

Also I'm very sorry about the lack of punctuation and maybe the lack of information got very bad ADHD that's been acting up lately I have terrible dyslexia along with a little touch of depression thrown in there.. so this whole process has been very frustrating anyway sorry I'm just venting

So if anybody could help me about the coloring or about the discoloration that would be amazing thank you and have a wonderful day

Can you tell us a little more about your grow? What media are you using? How often are you watering? How much water do you give? What kind of water (tap, well, RO, distilled, etc)? What light? How high is the light above the plants? If the light has a dimmer, where is it set? Are you giving any other supplements or additives?

Yes you're right I'm sorry I apologize I should have put that down.... A third cocoa a third sterilite and a third organic soil, I believe it was a mix of the oceans and frog.... Well I've been spraying the leaves and lightly watering the soil for the first three and a half weeks now I'm actually watering it the normal way so I've only done it twice one of them has been with the nutrients.... The water is distilled but I checked the pH make sure it's 6 give or take a half a point....

The lights are two Bloom 1000 and I have this in a 4x2x5 tent

I have AC Infinity fan I usually keep it at between four and five... Where I'm at is very very humid and really hot so it's very difficult because I have to keep this thing out in the patio now it is a screened in covered patio but still gets hot and there's nothing I can do about that it has to stay out in the patio

They're 24 in away from the plants right now that's what the specs said on the lights....

There is no dimmer on these lights....

No other supplements but last week for their first nutrients ever I gave them some calmag but I just did half of what I was supposed to do because they were so young and all three of them actually look pretty good after about one got yellow.... Also the soil of the pH of the yellow one is at 8 I just checked it minutes ago so that might actually be the problem

And on that one even the stem of the plant is turning yellow

I really apologize for the lack of punctuation on voice texting

I don't know how much buffering you're getting out of your media mix, but I'd try to get any inputs down closer to 6.0 pH. When I grow in soil, I water to saturation plus a little runoff, only when the pots are very light. With plants the size of yours in those pots, that could easily be once a week or even less frequently. I don't spray my leaves, unless I'm starting clones.

Oh no!!!! Don't die Lil one! Hopefully the info here helps.

Would you know a good way to get my soil pH down a little bit? Especially with the way I mixed everything by a third I can't really find anywhere that's telling me how to do it on the internet I'm sure I can if I keep looking but I've been looking for almost two days now I was thinking of flushing it I guess that's what they say I should do but then somebody else said not to do that to an autoflower you will ruin it because of the short lifespan

And what do you mean when you say buffering?

I'm not a fan of flushing...maybe someone who is can chime in. I'd just make sure any inputs you give the plant are closer to 6.0 pH. Not individually...when mixed together. Regarding buffering...many soil mixes have a buffering effect on inputs...for example, if I'm running 100% Happy Frog and water at 7.0 pH, the run-off will likely be closer to 6.0.
