Growing inside the fan leaves only eat but serve little purpose. Outside is another story. I defoliate everyday pretty much. Because I grow short I don't use a trellis. Now with 2 weeks to go I collapsed branches out to open up for inside buds. Hoping it gets tighter buds. Leaves are turning. Hate it when it gets ugly.
Looks like my last plant. I started w/ 2 but one hermied……so I spread the girl out and she got pretty big.
Feminized Diesel….I chilled her out at night and got some amazing purple colors….

I decided to grow 3 of Trustfall’s clones. My space is only 2.5’ x 6’ and these girls are busting out the closet door after 2 weeks of flowering.
I kinda defoliate all along…..I don’t do a net b/c I have to take each plant out of the space to water. I’m growing in a closet, so access is not the greatest.
I’ll defoliate all through veg and try to get as many sites exposed as possible, while bending everything outward to let the middle catch up with the edges.
I’ve finally gotten them to a point where I can leave them alone and let ‘em stack and pack.
Anyway, it’s very hands on but I end up with a sea of tops, an even middle canopy, and the outside colas a little taller, but getting similar light intensity as the mids.
I can’t say enough great things about Trustfall’s clones.
He sent me White Truffle x Okie, Grandi Guava and FPOG…..they all have tons of trichs after 2 weeks of flower.
I hope these turn out half as good as most of the grows on this thread…..def some fine hooch being cultivated.

That is a great closet grow! Plants look fantastic and I bet they turn out better than you hope.

Thanks for sharing your plants.

As promised a few days ago. A couple pics of some buds. 2 more weeks or so to go and they are starting to get chunky and some color expression. Took a couple side pics, a couple top down pics, and one pic of the top trellis. Looking forward to harvesting them, on day 49 since I changed the light schedule and day 39 since I saw the first pistols developing.

Send those plant in flower pics, love celebrating your achievements with you. It ain’t easy but it sure is hella rewarding! Thanks in advance as always.

And before I get the ole, your tips are little tiny bit crispy comments. I know and it is exactly what I was trying for. I wanted to push them a little tiny bit harder than I am use to. Just to see if I could see a difference. I grew these exact plants before and by pushing them a little harder I see a definite difference in bud size and density. I know some that push them really hard and some that don’t. I like trying different things and am stoked that this worked. I truly didn’t see any tips showing nutrient highs this whole grow until last week. I was pretty happy when I first noticed it. Let’s see how it finishes and if it does what I think it will do, I may push a tad harder next time around.

I have smoked some good stuff that has been pushed harder than I usually grow and loved it. I have smoked some that was pushed to much for my taste buds as it had a little more burnt tasting but the high was fine. To each is own on that one, I like the smoother non gagging flavor. But definitely will smoke it up when out with friends and the J gets passed my way.

You guys have some great grows going on….the buds are lined up perfect like little soldiers marching into battle.
I just noticed some strange white spots in 8-10 leaves on one my 3 plants. It almost looks like extremely small spots of dried bird crap….
It does wipe off, but takes some effort.
I’m wondering if it could be some kind of liquid that splattered on them….possibly perspiration, I was really sweaty a couple of times looking over the plants.
It could also be my watering…..maybe some splashed……I dunno.
Could it be the start of powdery mildew??

It does look like that to me as well! Have to treat that immediately or it is all for not in my opinion.

Oh, I forgot to say thank you for the nice comments on the folks and my grows. I just wanted to shoot you the response on your question right away. Also thanks for the pics and I hope everything goes perfect with your plants as they sure are beautiful.

Also minimally defoliate them down aggressively and clean up the entire tent, filtration system, fans, dehumidifier, etc…… with some sort of safe alcohol based cleaner. Nothing that you want your plants to absorb into the buds. Not sure exactly what to use but google it and hopefully someone following will have dealt with that before. I would do that immediately though.
