Anyone else keeps a diary/patient log book for their grows?

I went ahead and created a patient chart of all my plants and their names like (patients) to keep a record of what I did and how I did it. anyone else have one? or is this more of a newbie thing?

I like growdiaries.com for that purpose.

I keep a log file. It's just a text file. It's helpful for me because I can't remember when I watered each plant or what nutrients I used. I also like to keep track of other things, like weeks in veg or flower. It's ordered by date. At the bottom I list things I need to do and other notes.

You'll just grow on instinct and it will just work. I've never once looked back at old notes. Unless you have to track for a job or something. Then that's just pointless data to create and shred. Hide the secrets in your head where only the birds can find them.

to be honest I wouldn't mind sharing mine if i ever became a top grower I think this plant is truly medicinal because it changed my life for the better. I would want a piece of me in someones grow. I got help from the people that knew before I did and I would love to return the karma ..

Yeah I kind of have to agree. I wouldnt discourage any one from keeping an accurate record because there are some good reasons to. Especially if you have dementia.

I use "calendar task" on my desktop and it syncs to my phone too, but it doesn't sync to Google calendar witch is a pro for me as I use it for work projects. The desktop has a pretty nice layout, much better than the phone app:
