I'm back. The plants survived though the blue dream and the Malawi look uncomfortable. Like me on the roof all weekend. I got all my sleepers in and ready for the second decking and the metal, finally.

Hey @Oldchucky , are the malawi and critical locktite gonna have big arm like buds on them? I never really did much topping on them before I cooked them in the tent with a heater. Honestly, I didn't expect them to survive.

Look a little more sativa. I’m not really familiar with them. But your rooftop sure would look like a cactus garden to the uninitiated. I’ll have to go back and check the lineup! I have lost track of which are which!

Just looks like there is a lack of lateral branching. Almost look more like an auto would look. But a lot can happen in the next month. I don’t top, so no expert but maybe you should have top a few more times. To get more of a normal plant spread. And I think you’re going to have some thick solid bud on those arms. And it looks like they will be easy to support!😁

If you can, if its yield you are worried about, pull the tops over horizontal carefully, without splitting at joints. If you work at it a little each day you definitely could get them opened up. get the entire side of the stalk open to the sun. Think guyed wires. Also if you use wire, put a piece of old hose on it at the plant contact point.

Sounds like it’s worth a try. Be very careful of the joint where the branch joins the stalk. IMO whenever you top that joint can be a weak spot prone to splitting. Especially the first joint or two. seems like when you top you have to keep topping periodically to kind of spread some of the stress out. Kind of why I just bend them from the get-go! I use that green gardening tape. Got a little stretch to it.

Yeah a more nuanced approach to bending them is needed, like a gradual slow chiropractic approach. I would put the stalk joint on question in a white knuckle grip in one hand. And a very ginger bend in the other hand. maybe even zip strip the joint for a little extra support while you train it. But, it’s always about what you are comfortable doing bro. I’m just throwing this out as a possible option. Bc @Oldchucky is 100% right about the joints. But it can be done.

First grow myself. Have the vivosun tent but the 1000 watt led. After popping i immediately went with 25 percent at 15 "
I had major trouble controlling temperature and humidity here in the desert. But awesome lemony smoke and awesome blueberry og.

Hey @Oldchucky , when should I look at some defoliation on the roof plants? I got way overzealous on my blueberry og in the tent and I want to avoid that on the outdoor grow. Keep giving them fish ?
