Hi all,

I'm, a relatively new grower with four grows under my belt. When I harvest, all of my grows have light brown to brown roots. I've been watching many other growers with bright white roots, and I'm wondering if offwhite/ light brown is a sign of a problem. No smell, not mushy, just not bright white like my starter plants in a pete pellet ( when my seeds are in a pete pellet, its the only time I see bright white roots...

To keep the question simple, do you have white roots at harvest? Any pictures of your roots would be very helpful to me.

Note: Using Fox Farm Happy Frog, Coco Loco, etc... with added perlite and rabbit manure. I also use Great White, Mycos and Dynagrow Nutrients.

Sinse,

Here is a pic of the root ball from a sativa I grew last year. If your growing in liquid culture the roots should be nice and creamy white, like LG said.

I did a root check on this auto at day 25. It looked ok to me and grew well.

This is what I'm hoping for?

Here’s roots on a 1 gallon mother pot (first pic) that was taken down, she was in the pot for about 3 weeks, then a 5 gallon pot on a plant harvested a week ago, I went and took the foot ball out to the compost pile just to grab some pics for ya. Roots packed to the bottom through the screen 5 gallon bucket, she has been in this pot for about 13 weeks, you can see the top dress layers at the top of the halved section as well as a pic of chop day for the plant that was in it for size comparison

Fox farms strawberry fields was the medium on that run, her clones are in the same sized buckets in peat moss

Great pictures, thanks so much ! I'm not too far off from you and the lower pictures, with a slightly darker shade of brown. Maybe I'm ok.
