Yeah it’s just good practice too. The shelves will be coming out of there and I’m setting up a 4x4 scrog.

Coffee…..spiked with coffee.Don't forget - 10% bleach/water solution when you go to wipe everything down - kills that evil HLV'd even if it's not around you, prevention is cheaper than mitigation!
Also - doing pretty well today. If I can get motivated enough to finish painting my bedroom I'll be doing alright!![]()
Damn! Sharing some valuable advice... i just did a quick google:
Studies have shown that viroids can remain infectious for longer than 24 hours on most common surfaces , 7 weeks in water and months to years in dried plant debris and seeds.
Now i'm gonna rethink my sterilization process
Lol that's the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning. I make mud, not coffee.. Most people can't handle the coffee I make they say it's "too strong" - pussies.... I don't take no cream n' sugar, neither!Coffee…..spiked with coffee.
So you take yours straight. I like my French vanilla creamer. I'm a pussyLol that's the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning. I make mud, not coffee.. Most people can't handle the coffee I make they say it's "too strong" - pussies.... I don't take no cream n' sugar, neither!![]()
I do make rocket fuel myself, but I am a 2/2 dude, it just goes better with a cigarette, which I can’t seem to shake……Lol that's the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning. Damn.. i gotta rethink having my wife sing to my plants every morning... lol only CO² enrichment i doI attended a seminar at last year's CannaCon about HLV'd and learned quite a bit. It was enough to make me rethink my whole operation. I will no longer allow strangers in my grow rooms and definitely not without gloves and shoe covers, and 10% bleach is the only way to kill HLV'd on surfaces, so EVERYTHING gets wiped down after chop time.

After so long, it’s just part of the process now, I will say, I do slack on the shoes, I’m in and out all day with those on, but I do go through a lot of gloves, though at times I even get complacent with that….I’m pretty good about it though.I attended a seminar at last year's CannaCon about HLV'd and learned quite a bit. I switched to Newport reds when they came out 10ish years ago, they were $4.00 when they came out, which is still quadruple what they costed when I first started. My aunt has been beating me over the head with telling me to switch to a lb of longcut and some tubes. I have gotten down to a half a pack a day, so it’s not too crazy. Still fucking blows.I'll quit smokin' when I quit breathin'
lmaooooo
Idk the older I get the less I like sugary stuff. I used to put sugar in my coffee (never really was a fan of creamer) but these days I like it super strong and blacker than my heart.
I also roll my own cigarettes now because CO raised their tobacco tax to ridiculous levels. Costs 10 bucks a pack for a pack of Camels now, so yeah I buy the filter tubes and roll my own now for about the price of 10 dollars a carton.
Yeah I mean I'm probably not as proactive about it as I should be, but the way I see it, I live by myself in the middle of nowhere and don't have people coming and going very often at all, so I know I'm not likely to bring it into my facilities myself. But these days I'm not very keen to showing anyone my grow rooms when they do come over. Not only that, you never know who you can and can't trust anymore, so I just figure it's none of their damn business if they want to see some plants they can grow their ownAfter so long, it’s just part of the process now, I will say, I do slack on the shoes, I’m in and out all day with those on, but I do go through a lot of gloves, though at times I even get complacent with that….I’m pretty good about it though.
I haven’t shown anyone my grows in a hot minute, I usually head out places and keep a lot of gatherings to other peoples houses. It’s the old head in me. The only folks that get to see any of my stuff is out here….in the digital ether….Yeah I mean I'm probably not as proactive about it as I should be, but the way I see it, I live by myself in the middle of nowhere and don't have people coming and going very often at all, so I know I'm not likely to bring it into my facilities myself. They said at the seminar that about 80% of all facilities have it, and most don't know they have it. It has become quite a problem in the industry all of a sudden, and being that it's so hard to detect or diagnose, and almost impossible to get rid of once infected, yeah people are starting to take drastic measures to prevent it. But again, as they said in the seminar, prevention is cheaper than mitigation. If you do get it, the only way to save a strain from it is by doing a tissue culture.. And the only way to even know if you have it is to do a PCR or LAMP test, which costs more money.. So they say it's cheaper to buy personal protective equipment and properly wash and sanitize everything than to lose entire crops and then try to mitigate the problem in an infected facility. Is HLV that prevalent these days?
What it’s doing to everyone right now is a travesty. Heartbreaking stuff that hlv….They said at the seminar that about 80% of all facilities have it, and most don't know they have it. Thanks for the info man! I knew it was out there and a bitch to deal with but I didn't know it was that serious. I found this brand of "pipe tobacco" called "Largo" they sell it in both regular and menthol. The regular bags are red, the menthol sort of a greenish color I believe. I found this stuff tastes almost exactly like Camels. Most "pipe tobaccos" taste like shit and turned me off of rolling my own for years, but when I found this stuff I switched and never looked back. That would be awesome! I’d try some deadstill tobaccoI really want to grow my own tobacco. Maybe next year.
