I'm eager to try some of these new lights they have these days. The tech has come a long way that's for sure. Maybe I'll win one of those giveaways someday, or I'll probably wait until they're a little more affordable.

Yeah I'm definitely behind the times, unfortunately. After I quit working for the underground my access to lights and equipment went with it, so a lot of the stuff I have is pretty dated. MH/HPS lights, double enders, a bunch of old ass Mars Hydro blurples that were ridiculously expensive at the time, but are shit compared to what's on the market today. But it works, so I can't complain too much. Glad to have what I have. Living in CO helps a lot, too, because there are so many people coming and going, growing weed, equipment is pretty easy to come by. I've even found half a grow op worth of equipment in a random field once. There were lights, ballasts, Co2 burners, a bunch of shit just dumped in a random field on the side of a back road..

And of course the Colorado Tumblepot. Lots and lots of those accrued over the years
