Ogre Breath, she's a stinker already.

Well I think these plants have run their course!!! I have gotten the most out of these colas as I am capable. The trichomes are to my personal liking. So I will be harvesting them over the next few days as they just hit day 60 (from changing the light cycle). 3 of the 4 strains Ethos said are 60-70 days and the other strain they said was 55-65 days. They were right on the money for this grow. All but maybe one will be harvested either tomorrow or Saturday. I may keep one in there a few more days or so.

The next pictures I will post after this will be of the individual plants in its full glory. I will cut the trellises out completely and take the plants out one by one to prep them for hanging.

Looking forward to start the drying process and trimming. I personally trim a little every day over the course of the next 13-19 days as they are drying. So I am not really a true wet trimmer or am a completely dry trimmer. I am a hybrid trimmer I guess. Usually by the time they are dry and ready to start the curing process I have just a little trimming to do left. I also do not hang the entire plant like some and I do not cut the buds off to dry in a netting system (both fantastic methods might I add and to each their own on that). I cut branches off and hang them individually simply because it is easier for me to I guess hybrid trim if that’s what it is called. It also works way better for me in my grow room. The space I dedicate for drying, the hanging system on coat hangers works well for that space.

Pleases keep the pics coming as I will keep sending some pics all the way through the jarring of these plants. Thanks for sharing your grows along these past 60 days!

Thank you for the nice words. I am going to jump into a veg chat very soon as I am getting ready now. There is a great one going now that is from @Mikedin, not sure how to post the link but it is called.

Your plants in VEG! Veg plant photo, cloning discussion , share your pre flower prep!

Jump on that one and you can learn a ton. Manipulating the plant or plants to grow the way you want it to grow is the key. Some do it early in the plants veg, some do it consistently through veg, and some do it late in veg. I say try a few different techniques and find out what works well for you and your space.

A few quick pieces of advice I can share is -

The quality of the seed is everything. The best grower in the world can’t get quality out of bad genetics. Good seeds are worth the money and they 9.5 out of 10 times grow exactly like the great seed geneticists say they will. Nice thing is they are truly not that expensive. For 10 bucks you can get a pretty good seed, 20 bucks and you get a gem.

2nd is the light quality, again the best grower can’t grow amazing smoke let alone a lot of it with an underpowered or bad quality light. Want larger yields then your tent needs proper amounts of light. Definitely should be the most expensive thing in your tent! I say that but some pros are running a closed circuit CO2 system which gets pricey. To much for me to get into as I do not grow with a CO2 system. I throw in the ole exhale bag and keep it moving for a solid 40-50 bucks

3rd is feeding properly, many nutrients out there to choose from. Just have to figure out what works for you. There are also charts out there for how much water whatever size pot you are using can truly hold in a single watering. Like I know that when I grow in 5 gallon smart pots that the most water they can hold is right at a half gallon. So I NEVER feed them more than that in a single watering and usually not much less than that when I do water. If they are smaller plants it just takes them more days to drink that water up before I water again. As they get larger I water them once a day but never more than a half gallon.

4th is humidity, this is a fickle deal hear if you ask me and this is what sets back most beginner growers. I have been lucky to not yet have to deal with mold or mildew but that is because I really pay attention to my humidity and matching it to temperatures correctly. You definitely don't have to be as serious as I take it but just know that a humidifier that can turn on and off automatically when you get to a percentage of humidity your happy with is a great buy. They sell them pretty cheap as well and are worth it for sure. Most issues I have ever seen in others tents is 90% of the time humidity driven. Now skipping back to tip 1 about seed quality. If you know you have a humidity issue in your area of the world and where you are growing, they make strains that are very resistant to molds. Just have to do some research and find the right strain for you.

Go follow that chat I mentioned and hopefully I will see your new grow on that one soon.

Thanks again for the pic and kind words.

I too slap my ladies around and make them do unnatural things. Can’t wait to get back to some really nice lst and topping. Missed it this last run. I’m like you, I like a more uplifting stone, I harvested my one room that had a lot more lighting at day 56. My other room still has a little while to catch up, though I think I may keep them on the stalk to a 30% amber. I like 15% personally, but I really don’t mind either way.

Week 4 of flower

3 purple urkle
2 romulan
1 fucking incredible

Day 65 ish, tricones jumped up from less then 1% to like 15% on the top half of the colas. The bottomed still all cloudy, no amber. She doesn't have much time left, but she still needs to mature a little more. Probably 2-4-8-16 days left idk.

That plant looks more fantastic every time I see it! Such a pretty flower. Well done!!!!

Well I did it!!! Grew these five beauties and had a blast sharing them along their flower cycle with everyone. Now the work starts to finalize the deal and put them in their jars for curing.

I will send some pics of them hanging maybe later tonight. It will be fun watching the plants transform over the next 2 weeks. I have already started to trim of a bunch of fan leaves but have so much more to do it is crazy. But they will look really good in a few weeks and I will really see the harvest bounty!!!!!

Keep sending me those pics as my flowers are starting to die now. Which is both sad and wonderful all at the same time!
