Hi,
My leaves are turning yellow and strange purple-red spots are appearing, does anyone know what these are please?
I'm growing a purple flower
Thank you.

What are you feeding your plant?

Looks like a potassium/calmag deficiency. You have to check your ph as well as how much potassium calmag your are feeding if not enough.

In later flower I up my cal and potassium and they start turning purplish.

I'd like to see more of the plant. I'm wondering if there might be more than one problem. Reddish purple color, for example, can result from release of anthocyanins as part of a stress response.

Purple indicates phosphorus deficiency. Could be your ph is too high or you have lockout. I’m a newbie so get others opinion but I had the same exact problem, mine was due to high ph. Kinda hard to see in the pics but you get the idea. Look under your leaves if they’re purple that’s also an indicator. Imma leave a pic of phosphorus deficiency I found on Google. Could also have a little bit of potassium deficiency going on. Are you in flower by chance? I was also growing a purple flower but you can see down in my vid what a healthy purple leave will look like vs one that’s splotchy and dying. Unless you’re in like week 7 of flower I’d give them a dose of p-k and I’d check my ph levels

I check the pH today and was horrified, it looks like I've been watering with a pH of 5.1 for a while. I use biobizz bio-bloom biobizz allmix fertilizers and recently bought algae and a mic. I give all these fertilizers 4ml/1l. It seems that this is what rapidly lowers the pH of my water 🙃 . Originally, the water was 6.5.

or my pH meter is broken.. I'm confused, thank you anyway :) I will give them more fertilizers as a precaution, I have about 3 weeks before harvest so I will feed them properly before flushing

Yeah bro bring the ph up some and your plants should be just fine they probably couldn’t intake nutes properly

if im to guess its a deficiency in possibley cal/mag due to the whitness from the outside of the leaf are you growing in coco coir as this soaks up cal/mag and need to add the extra sup. a possible potassum one also from the purple coming into play.
