What do you have wrapped around your airpots? You're setup looks great.

Panty hose. I learned it from a fellow grower that goes by "Mick Foster." Besides a much cleaner grow area it also provides a barrier against insect ingress or egress. If I'm not mistaken my 5 gal airpots took a large.

Very cool, I'll have to try that. Gnats are definitely a thing right now, but its greatly reduce over the last week. I went a bit water crazy in the beginning :(

Update:

A week later and I've seen big progress on 3 Dosidos plants, but the 4th purple punch plant is still lagging and looking pretty rough. I will be top dressing with Gaia green 444, 284 and some worm casting for tomorrows watering.

Environment:
68 low (night) with daytime temp of 75-76
My rH has been between 60 and 65 with VPD ranging between .8 - 1.1

Light: 240w LED at 60%, canopy par reads right around 300.

Watering: It's been 3 days since last watering, planning to water first thing tomorrow morning. I've been running them a bit drier as I had some Gnats early on due to over watering.

I'm thinking of just killing the 4th plant as it seems it'll just keep lagging and not produce much of a yield, but unsure. The big plus is It'd be easier to manage the 3x3 as these Dosidos keep growing. Thoughts? I might keep it for science just to see how it goes, but I'd like to save my nutes if they'll just be wasted.

Appreciate everyone's input so far, been a great community to learn from.

The runt has crossed the rainbow bridge. She went to sleep one night and never bounced back to praise the sun, I let her sit for a few days hoping she'd recover, but no dice. All my other girls are happy as can be though and really filling out, 2 of them are shooting pistols like crazy and the one I topped for science is lagging a few days behind now. I trimmed a few of the lowest node fan leaves as they were basically laying on the ground, otherwise just been performing a little LST.

Light 70% (around 675 par) increasing daily as they move into flower.
Environment: 69 low - 78 high with rh of 50-55%

Topped for science? Topping has been done for years my friend. She'll bush out more than the other two giving you more cola sites. Well to bad the runt didn't make it. The three will fill that tent up good. Plants looking great.

I know its pretty normal with photoperiod plants, but with autos it seems to be a highly debated subject, mainly because autos have a strict timeline. Thus I figured I'd try it on one of my plants.

oh yeah. .lol, it's tricky with autos, I think you'll be alright. Looking good man. Think you be getting a gang of flowers here. Nice job.

Day 42 (44 from seed) Update:

The plants are overall in decent health, but I have run into some nutrient issues. I believe it to be a mix of calmag deficiency and Nitrogen toxicity due to feeding a veg top feed 2 days prior to them starting to flower. I've made note of this for the next grow and will adjust, for now i bought some bottled calmag to supply it now and will mix in some organic dry amendments for the 2 nutes in my next top feed. I could be wrong, but with the yellowing inside of the leaves and tips burning off it seems to be my best guess.

The plant I topped (on left) has really sprung back, her bud sights are much smaller being a week and a half behind, but very curious how she turn out.

I'm guessing I still have 4-5 weeks left, but that's a complete guess based on barneys farm saying 75 days. It seems the internet says they average about 84.

As always any input is appreciated and happy growing :)

Yeah I used a 1/3 of the recommended twice in a week and stopped. Now just watering with Ph'd water and letting dry amendments do their thing.

Now im just working on figuring out the whole watering schedule. I gave them 2L of water each and they looked super sad and droopy for a few days, so I turned it down to 1.5L, but then they look sad in a different way (dry).

I gave up guessing and just got one of them moisture meters to check the soil for me. A top layer of mulch (straw) will help you out too (moisture retention). Your ladies are looking good from what I can tell, your probably just over thinking it. Today trying to bend some of the branches of one of my plants, I snapped one, would not have happened if I just left it alone. In soil these plants don't need much help. 5 to 10% of your soils volume is a good amount to water at a time. I have ten gallon pots, so 5% is half gallon. Letting your soil hit dry for a day is actually healthy for your roots. They need oxygen. At the stage your in, dropping a tablespoon of unsulphured molasses to gallon of water will do wonders for the beneficial bacteria in your soil. Speeding up the uptake of nutrients. I'd do this once every two weeks till your near harvest and stop for the weening of nutrients.

2/3 of the plants are doing well and really starting to bulk up and produce trichomes (MMMM THAT SMELL).

The plant I topped late went through some insane growth and has gotten pretty yellow. I'm going to guess she's out of nitrogen after the big stretch she performed in the last week. Unfortunately with it being week 8 I won't be feeding again since its nearing harvest time and the organic nutes take time to become available to the plants.

My current guess is that i'll be chopping and drying in the next 2 weeks or so, I'll just continue to watch the trichome production on plants 1 and 2. I may keep the 3rd one under the light a little longer to see if she continues to bulk up, but imagine she just will have small popcorn buds due to the stress I put her through.

Lots learned this run and I look forward to my next!

I'm pretty sure it's the same with all of them, there's always a 3 to 4 week stretch period. I'd wait till the buds are begging to be harvested. Auto or Photoperiod.

Sounds good, I'll give it a shot. I bought a second tent for drying, so I don't have to stress about them all finishing at the same time. Appreciate the insight!

Day 74 from sprout update:

The biggest question now is when to chop? 2 of the plants are nice and plump with very few clear trichomes and lots of milky with a sprinkle of amber. I'm thinking sometime next week to chop and hang.

The 3rd plant got stressed by topping and has pretty airy buds. I'm guessing she still has 2 weeks or so she's mainly all clear with some milky trichomes.

Any insight is appreciated, can't believe how fast the first grow went by.
