I use it everytime i water even if I dont feed them fert. I dont use it after 2-3 week into flower I already built my root sytem and dont think it would help? Someone correct me if I should use it all the way threw flower.

Good find Venom, that is a good price for the size. I love the stuff...one of the additives out there that actually does what they say it will, lol! I use it every watering up to the 1st week of flowering.

I love this stuff and use 5 ml/gal in my cloning trays and get almost 100% success rates every time. I also clone all through the flowering cycle with no issues.

I would compare the Roots Excel to the Humboldt Roots product as being very, very close in composition.

Roots xcl and humboldt roots are basically identical in composition, consistency and even packaging. But humboldt roots doesn't seem to be as effective as roots xcl. Both are roughly the same price but humboldts dilution rate is double that of roots xcl.

its good stuff for sure.

i only use it once a week when there young for the first couple of weeks and also any time i pot up.

never tried feeding them it through flower(dont want to pot up whilst in flower).

i bought a the 250ml bottle and by feeding them the way i did i got3-4 grows out of it before i noticed when i was shaking the bottle up i could here that solids had started to form inside.

even though solids had started to form i used it on another grow as it still smelt the same,just rattled a bit when shook up and still performed as before.

i still had enough for anoter grow maybe but didnt get to see how it performed as my grow partner somehow pierced the bottom of the bottle and it leaked out.

also dont bang the bottle about as its only very thin metal.

Fast Forward did a wonderful test of the top brands of root promoting products last year and H&G Root Excelurator came out on top!

I love this stuff and use 5 ml/gal in my cloning trays and get almost 100% success rates every time. I also clone all through the flowering cycle with no issues.

I will be doing a tutorial very soon showing my cloning method.

RE is every bit as good as people say it is, and I believe h&g recommends using it along side great white. So to answer your question, yes

Yes....House & Garden actually recommends Great White on their schedule.... A way to save you money is to use Great White once a week in a top feed....It costs too much, runs dirty, and is not necessary to use in the rez....Peace

just an update from last time, i went out and got roots excelurator and have been using it for a week on a control group in my garden. i am REALLY impressed with this product. it shot the roots out of my Blockhead and Herijuana clones like ive never seen.
growing in coco, using co2(1500-2000ppm), advanced sensi a+b, b52 in res, feeding twice a week at about 650-750 ppm. and feeding beneficial bacteria on its own, with septic tank cleaner(for anyone who read my 'voodoo is tank cleaner' post), piranha and tarantula ( still on hold for another brand of mycorrhizal bacteria and fungus product) to the tune of about 400ppm about once a week.
no comparision between the clones who got the root excelurator, given at about .75ml to a litre in both res feedings and beni feedings.

no joke, like a high school student just starting to work out compared to a seasoned bodybuilder on streroids, the roots do not compare. this product was worth the 90$ for 250 ml

its quality i have no comparison as i was told and after research found its the best stuff, advanced nutrients admit its better than anything they make so must be good, if you buy the small bottle it should never go off. i used the small bottle in 2 goes so 7 months or so but sure it will last 18 months after opening
