I’m about 2-3 weeks in flower and my leaves have gone dark green and some leaves are yellowing and falling off and some of the tips are bent down with a little burn on the end of them this is my second grow first time growing in coco and I’ve been giving water every 2 days I’ve been feeding every watering using the nutrients below I think this has been going on for a while just haven’t noticed it I’m pretty sure I’ve been under watering to I’m in 10 litre pots and been giving 1.5 litres of water every two days was getting no run off and I was letting the coco fully dry out which I found out I’m not supposed to so I upped the water to 2.5 litres no nutrients and I’m getting about 5% run off if there’s anything else you need to know lmk any help would be appreciated thanks 🙏

Looks like a nitrogen toxicity. Maybe your coco still has a lot of unused nitrogen as you let your coco to dry out. Or possibly you have incorrect PH.

Nonetheless, here comes the good side of coco. It does not matter that much whatever is the problem, or what has caused it, as with coco you can reset the whole medium pretty easily.

Step 1: Flush the system, with 5.9-6.0 PH / hand warm water, until you get at least 30-40% run off. Do this right away when your girls wake up and start their day.

Step 2: After 6 hours, add regular nutrient solutions by following instructions on the bottle.

You have very good and novice friendly nutrients and it's very hard to over feed with them, if you follow the instructions. As i said, your toxicity is not caused by overfeeding, but rather some other problem which locks other nutrients out and creates imbalances.

Step 3: After first recovery day just go back to your normal feeding routine. Feed 1 time per day, preferably right at the morning with 20% runoff.

However basically the optimal way would be that you feed multiple times a day, and get the 20% runoff only on the last feed of the day. This may be tricky, but it may help on the recovery process as you are providing constantly fresh air and nutrients.

Step: 4: Repeat flushing after 48-72H if there is no signs of recovery.

Step 3 typo brainfart fix: "After first recovery day"

I meant to say that very next day, start the regular feeding schedule.

Yeah. Those are really dark green with claws. Use plain water a couple times then reduce your ppm when you make your feed solution next time.

Some strains love nitrogen like Blue Dream. While others don't need as much.

Indicas should be forest green leaves and Sativa pure strains are lighter green.

Here's a pic of my garden currently growing. Front right is Sativa limer green leaves. Very sensitive to nutes. The other 3 are indica hybrids fatter leaves and slightly darker. If yours is darker than these it's too much Nitrogen.

Ok thanks for the help only problem is I don’t have ph down and ph up I’m pretty sure my ph has been like 5.3 after adding nutrients so that probably is the reason will get some ordered but delivery will probably take a few days I just got told that ph doesn’t Matter thats why I never really thought about the ph should I still flush without the right ph or wait

they look amazing 🤩 and I just ordered a ppm meter so I can ppm my run off and see if I’m over feeding thanks for the help

PH is definitely one of the main key elements which you want to monitor in Coco. Just monitor your input AKA the water you feed in and i'll guarantee that it'll help you drastically. Also remember to only check PH from the water, after you have mixed everything in well.

What comes to the wait or not to wait. The less waiting is better. Most likely you can find some 1-time-use PH sliders from your local stores.

Try to find these "PH sliders" and start flushing ASAP.
As your girls are just about to start popping real bloom, you really don't want nitrogen toxicity to interfere as it will hurt your yield a lot.

what’s ph sliders I doubt I’ll be able to find anything near me can never find things for growing always have to order them online would you be able to show a picture of them and I’ll try go look for them in the morning thanks

Even this type of kit will take you very far. Just always check the PH of the feeding water, which you are about to put it.

These are the "sliders" which i am talking about. Sorry for misleading and incorrect words. But yeah. This is the one which you want to get, if you don't want to pay for a real measuring device. (Which is not needed anyways in my opinion with Coco.)

Perfect. Also note that if your PH down is citric acid, it might nott keep your PH levels as stable as ypu wish.

With Coco, you want to use more "stable" solutions, like Phosphoric acid. (This is technically for bloom period only, but as you only put couple drops, it probably won't matter in here, if you not would get a separate solution for vegetatice state, for the next run and would only use "bloom" version)

With these nutrients, you should pretty much only be adding couple drops of Phosphoric acid to achieve correct PH.
