Yep, and it took me a month there to figure out why, when the traffic lights turn green, nobody goes for 30 seconds...
looking for cross-traffic red light runners....

Louisiana had the worst roads I've ever seen in my life. I was stationed there when I was in the Army at Fort Polk. All I remember about the roads down there was how many potholes there were. It was insane. It looked worse than a field of prairie dogs, for real. Talk about the shittiest duty station in the entire military. Fort Polk and Leesville suck ass!

Bro, I went to go visit my friend off of bayou gauche, maybe 45 minutes to the west of Nola, I had just gotten a new set of Goodyear off roads on the truck, had maaaaaybe 5k on them, I hit an overpass concrete to black top so damned had it exploded that brand new tire. On fucking thanksgiving no less. The roads there are really kinda insane.

I never sweat that, the broadcast equipment they use to beam their bs into everyone’s house, the updates they get on their phones, the fact it even rings, was all due to me and my lunatic buddies building the cell towers that makes their stupid world turn. Idiots, the whole lot. I hate that pre conceived notion. Sure, us tower hands are crazy as shit, but waaaay smarter than the average bear, I needed a rooster head pulley setup on the capstan just to hoist my giant balls up there 😂😂😂🚀
