Just though about this, how long do you usually veg for under that rig? Until it’s full? Or do you try to anticipate stretch?

My longest veg has been 6-7 months. Then shit gets unwieldy, end up super cropping like crazy trying to maintain. I’m actually planning on doing that again this run. I have plenty of power for overhead and side lighting.

That is intense! 7 months at 20/4? I know you'll taper it down so it isn't a straight flip to 12/12, but do you extend the length of the taper period for a veg that long?

Well I ran 18/6 when I did that last. Hard flip

This will be the first run tapering from 20/4, so I suspect at least an extra day

yeah you probably wanna go about 80% full because you also tuck the stretch under. especially if you have many plants.
with one plant you get a round mushroom shape so theres always a bit of extra room in the corners

and if your branches are getting too close to the edge and your not ready to flip thats when you can top them to slow em down a bit . I sometimes will do this if one part of the canopy needs more time but some areas are running out of space

Thanks, been scratching my head since I was notified as to what to do with it. I've got a 3x3, but 200w really would only maybe push a 2x2. Maybe an excuse to get my mother tent set up, and maybe do a 1 plant grow as a thank you to phlizon before turning solely to a mother tent

I like the idea of a mother tent.

I also like the sound of a single-plant-monster-yeild contest. I heard some talk earlier, some people might be down for a challenge. Single plant, topping vs lst vs scrog vs all of the above. Who gets the best yeild?
