Agreed 100%, he knocked out 15 men in one fucking night hahahaha, but man, Evander really put on a clinic in this fight, everytime I watch it I’m always like, “George, just go down! God damn. This man can take a punch” Evander on full tilt was no joke back then……

@Captspaulding I saw a match one time, right around the Persian Gulf war.... Welterweight.. I think.....

Black dude was beating the living SHIT out of the white dude... Chasing him across the ring, around the ring, like literally the cat was running away from him full speed, was called by the ref on it a couple time... The last time he ran though.... he looked like a little girl... but then he stopped. Dead....

Turned around.. right by the ropes, black dude SMACKED him HARD..... White dude.... full force went against the ropes, put his arm straight out.... and when he bounced back, he connected right on the dudes jaw...

Knocked the black dude out COLD!

I swear it wasn't a clown fight man.... it was a PRO fight.

@GanjaJack if you haven’t ever set eyes on this fight, you’re welcome. The first round is considered the greatest round in boxing history, in greatest fight in history. It’s worth the 20 minutes if you got it…..

Now THAT was one hell of a fight.

Marvin Hagler was one of my favorite boxers of all time.

I think I was like 14 when that fight went down.

Funny how that happens, kinda like Tommy Morrison in arguably the most savage knockout ever, ray Mercer tried to kill the man….Tommy acted like a bull the whole fight, just to get hit so hard like 15 times in a row, he was never the same. I love the sweet science…..

Ok.... so, right off the bat, first hit from Morrison... Mercer took his hit to the forearms, realized that Tommy had NO power.. All he had to do was take the shots.

Mercer is like hitting a frozen side of beef.... and he knew he could take everything that Tommy gave, just waited for Tommy to wear himself out.

A thing of beauty really, banked on it, and that was Tommy’s mo always. He just followed everyone trying to load up that left hook. It was just deserts really. That last hook though….man. His whole bloodline felt that shit……

Right? And then you see what Tyson did to Mercer, it makes me laugh when people were trying to make Morrison Tyson. It would have been a murder scene at MSG 😂

I mean, it was crazy talk. Sure, Tommy had dynamite in that left hand, but that was it. Tyson, was death incarnate. A heavyweight Philly shell boxer that moves like a welterweight is in my opinion arguably the greatest package in boxing ever.

I always wished that Brock Lesner would have went into boxing but, he doesn't have the stamina I don't think...

That guys a freaking monster though. Put Mike Tyson's will in that guys mind and soul... YIKES!
