At first thought it was a nanner but based on searching seems more like a bract or ovule. Broke one open and it was empty no pollen or seed. It's on day 39 since flipping lights to 12/12. Only a few buds seen to have them. Concerned as it's my very first grow and have no experience.

Definitely looks like a bean coming through. Sorry man.

I just looked up seeded weed and I think you are probably right. I have 2 plants and the one has some spots like that but so far the other looks pretty normal. Can they do that and not have been pollinated? I squished one and there was no seed. I have not thoroughly looked but haven't seen any pollen sacs off hand.

Fems have a genetic predisposition to herm tendencies. Newer growers coax out the trait usually due to a lack of a dialed in environment, humidity swings, temp swings wack feed regimen, and things of the like. I would really be keeping an eye on the lower popcorn LARF at the bottom of stalks too, the pollen sacs manifest low a lot of the time. Look everywhere, but still keep an eye on the lowers too.

Dang, yeah probably some sacs somewhere. It's my first ever grow and been pretty hands off. I researched and got my setup and basically been letting them do their thing. Do they look okay besides who knows how much is pollinated? I accidentally snapped two branches on the left White Zlushiez plant trying to super crop since the stretch was crazier than expected. Probably hermed from that stress. Environment has been stableish the difference in lights on and off is where I have been worried. I don't consume much and started this as kind of a hobby so I'm just going to let them finish up and see how it goes.

For your first run, that’s beautiful. A lot of the dialing in comes through redundancy and great notes. Experience. But I have a feeling, you are going to be quite the grower. Nice work homie!

Thanks for the reassurance. I keep track of stuff pretty well. The first grow I really wanted to do a hands off approach. I did top at day 24, no defoliation or branch removal. My failed super cropping branches I left as is. Was that a bad move? I have been keeping an eye out for mold and rot but they weirdly seem to be developing somehow.

Nah thats not a bad move, and it doesn’t look like it quite failed. It looks like you just got a little heavy handed pinching the stalk. Everything looks to be alive. You may have jacked a couple leaves up, but you had the right idea. If it dead, then yea remove. But as long as it’s not laying on top of any other buds, I say let it be. But if it starts dying back snip.

Thank you so much for answering my questions, it really helps calm the first grow jitters I'm having. The one super crop branch that did end up successful actually ended up really taking off and is the thickest in the tent. It just bent itself right back up with a vengeance lol.

They will do that, next time, fashion some type of weight, it will keep it horizontal.

I try to find the silver lining in everything. So hopefully you get only a couple seeds and the rest all bud. ☺
I didn't have any real expectations on my first grow, so anything is good besides total death lol. Trying to learn and get a feel for the plants growth. Just between the two different genetics I ran I saw notable differences. It's been fun and exciting watching them grow up!

I've killed a lot of seedlings myself but I've 2 successful harvests under my belt. It's amazing just watching from seed to harvest. The beauty of marijuana plant. ☺

The seedling and germinating was the hardest so far for me so far. Though I have yet to harvest, dry and cure which seems finicky but hopefully I can get through it well enough. I love the different smells that I have been experiencing with growing cannabis. Really interesting plant!

Ain’t nothing like a nice stem rub….😂

I am indeed dealing with some pollination. A while back I thought that some stigmas were starting to turn brown from fans blowing on them too much since it was way to early for them to be maturing. Turns out pollinated stigma tips turn brown but still have the white base, which is what I have seen in spots. I haven't been able to find any sacs or bananas but did see more seed spots growing. I'm interested to see how seeded the buds turn out to be and will continue my grow until the trichomes let me know the are ready to harvest. Thanks everyone for helping me figure this out!
