How much space in between light and top net?
Oof now the tough questions lol,

I’d say about 30”, it’s a decent stretch they made, did a bit more defol today while watering before I had to leave, trying to do a bit a day, was happy when I got home yesterday that the exhaust wasent even running at lights off. Just the lollypopping + between net defol dropped the RH in the tent about 8%, dehu is even shut off now
Your internodal spacing is on point. If they are done reaching. From the looks of it, oh they will stack up nice.
They do seem like they are just about done stretching. There coming up on 30 days now so hopefully we start to see some stack now, debating in the net for the next plants. The cement shoes will not be netted , just some additional tie down during Week 1 - 1.5 of flower and then see what she does

Damn, you ain’t kidding on stretch. It’s amazing what a difference a defol can make sometimes. 8 point swing is pretty awesome. I’m kinda scared this run on potential size of the plants, I waiting to flip until I get back from an Nhra race 2nd week of October. So it’ll be a nine week veg for mine, there is no telling at this point how big they are going to be, I may just have to top them all one last time before I leave, by the time I get back maybe they won’t be nuts…..hey man, If you ever want to let go of a cement shoes cut, you know what tree to shake! 😜 it’s always a pleasure watching you work man. You roll similar for sure. Sometimes you just gotta let them be themselves. Some strains with shock you, take a lot of conventional knowledge and scoff at the rules. Such a cool grow you have going.

I’ve been going to a lot of dirt track races lately (track is 10 minutes from my house)

But that’s awesome going to an NHRA race! Haven’t been to a drag strip in ages, the local drag strip shut down about 15 years ago

Might grab a cut tomorrow and stick it in dirt, well see she may go the way of the breeze soon lol, but I do have about 7 more strains a member here sent me all from 2012 (plus 2x 2023 strains one was cereal milk, haven’t opened the rest of the vacuum seals yet 😁, most of these strains have 1 seed I was sent so it’s a one shot deal to germ them

My method that worked with the cement shoes was scarification, followed by a 12 hour soak in 20:1 water peroxide solution on a heat mat, then into strawberry fields to germ. On a heat mat, I’ve seen people use rockwool cubes to clone / start seeds, then stick into dirt, have you ever tried that method? I was gunna try it with a seed and see how it goes

She was heavily tied down about 7 hours ago and stuck on the floor of the flower tent 😁

My plan for that Frostette is she will be cut WAY back, she has a node right off the main stem at the bottom, plan is to chop the whole top down to that single little node, then I wanna take it out of the 2 cup pot and then cut the root ball back, re pot into an identical sized pot once the root ball is about 50% cut off (bonzai method)

The plan

I’ll remove the other 2 nodes and let he start over from that single node

Pushing these girls pretty hard, hitting day 27ish I believe (was a few days off before lol) will have to check the calendar tomorrow lol, but besides that….

Frostettes are still going crazy in there, looks like I went a shade overboard on the mag, and of course I just hit them with epsom and gypsum yesterday, but no worries i started feeding epsom and gypsum a week after flip so they could distribute evenly through the medium BEFORE the plant needed it, but not by much, they should really start looking for that cal and mag soon as we’re pushing week 4 now uptake should be increasing right around now, trying to avoid those dreaded cal def spots if I can help it lol

Aww hell partnuh. Theys gone be just fine!

Oh for sure haha, they’ll be callling for that mag soon anyways. I guess it could be a P def but HIGHLY unlikely as these girls are being fed heavier than the mother was, so I’m going with slight mag tox (probably at the best time it could happen lol)

Frostettes got another defol tonight as well as their mid flower feed, just coming up to 30 days and the mother was chopped at 64 days so, today the got a, pretty damn heavy feed so we’ll see how they take it. Still in 5 gallon buckets , each plant got 12tbs Gaia 2-8-4 and 4 tbs Gaia 4-4-4, and a cup of EWC each.

Should be a coast to the end grow now, just water and admire 😁 maybe I’ll see about getting a booster for the last 2 weeks but after seeing how well the mother did with nothing I may just let her ride it out 🤔

Frostettes are doing great, hell of a stack on them for day 29 if memory serves me correctly the mother wasent even this heavy at this point so we’ll see what happens.

Did a bit more defol and fill lollypopping, also cleaned in between nets completely.

For anyone wanting to know, the plants are 56” tall from soil line to top buds, (and buds are touching the lights they are maxed out for height) top net is 26” from the light at 400w from the wall currently. Pushing between 750-800PPFD on tops that are 6-8” away from the light, and I can only imagine the ones that are touching it are well above 1k PPFD I did see 2 leaves that where touching the diodes with a few brown spots on its leaf where the LED’s where touching but… let ‘em roll

Found a few pickups at the local hydro shop as well

Clonex cloning solution and spray, as well as 3 gallon extruded buckets nice and heavy for only $3 each picked up 4

Amazing brother, I’ve got some catching up to do but by the looks of it, it’s going to be a great read

It’s always awesome when you get just the right dryback and you know it’s right on point 👍👍👍👍👊
Definitely, I'm in 6l pots with about 10% perlite, going to drop down to 3.2l straight coco in future to be able to steer better while the plants are still in veg. I wanted to have flipped to flower a week ago but drybacks were still too slow

I hear ya. I like when I hit the once every other day in a 5 gallon watering schedule to right at flip, by week 4-4.5 I expect to be daily, then at the end around week 7.5-9 I find I slow down to about once wvery 2 days again

I used to do the same but multiple shots of water definitely seems to yield better results. If the drybacks aren't daily you basically always steer the plants in a vegetative direction, well in hydroponics at least. Soil is a different thing though

Had a bit of time got out to the garden to pick the cayenne and Thai peppers, habaneros and hot cherry peppers gunna let these sun dry tons more out in the garden

I’ll save some seeds for next year as well, these peppers did excellent in the garden, this is the 4th or 5th harvest of these peppers
